  1. I'm on the fence really. I think I'd welcome it tbh. That Chelsea side he played in was a car crash. Totally unbalanced. I would not be judging him on that. That said, I did see some promising signs even in that team. And he's be playing off Ollie, the pressing, goal scoring assist machine. I think they'd link up beautifully.
  2. Log out, and get Workers and Resources. Cities Skylines games are like kids toys to me now. I'm operating on a new city builder plane.
  3. Tactically Felix would make a lot of sense with the system we play. We've played Diaby a number of times as a right sided CF/SS off Ollie. Felix is Mr. Right-sided-SS. He'd fit that role perfectly.
  4. He's only 24. He's not after a paycheck on his way down after a long career. I don't get that comparison at all.
  5. I expect to see him in the cups initially. If he's decent that will allow us some rotation. Wildcard, but it was one of necessity, and if the (albeit small) risk pays off, it will turn out to be good transfer, not least a PSR bacon saver.
  6. Agreed. We took the league's top assist winner, and he's had no time whatsoever, despite us struggling to create chances. Foden for Ollie part way through a game to play alongside Kane is an absolute no brainer for me.
  7. The one thing I was thinking throughout the game, was that we desperately need to get this guy back in Central Defence. He's done a job for us at RB but he's such a good centre back.
  8. Was given the job of man marking Embolo, which is no mean feat. He's a beast. He never got a sniff. The one time Konsa was called on to defend elsewhere, Embolo scored. Thought he had a tremendous game.
  9. How are you judging this? I'm not saying you are wrong necessarily, but I doubt the difference is enough to suggest that a better than 1:1 strikerate is not a pretty good indicator of a pretty good striker.
  10. Weren't we neck and neck with the Bundesliga in the Uefa coefficient this year? Also they had a team in the Champions League final.
  11. I think you hit on it there. What with club seasons getting bigger and bigger, champions league, various national cups across Europe, international friendlies etc some players are involved in up to 60 games, and then have to play up to another 7 games in a month. Everyone is probably just broken.
  12. Musiala has been one of my players of the tournament so far. He's got so much talent and potential it's frightening.
  13. I think you are right, but just playing devil's advocate for a second, if we're going on who deserves to start based on how they did last year, Harry Kane scored 36 goals in 32 league appearances and 8 in 12 Cup games.
  14. Dunno, I am not feeling the west ham one. Looks a bit on the boring side.
  15. What a finish to this game. As a neutral Extra Time has been fantastic.
  16. I think we're gonna wonder in a few years how we never got the best out of him. I still think he's gonna be a top player for someone.
  17. I bought this, played it for a bit, thought 'this is ok', then got stuck trying to find some haunted melons or some shit, and tuned out. Not played it for months.
  18. Better than several recent PMs. Truss would have sold all our defence assets for magic beans in the 2hrs he was in charge.
  19. Spot on. They'll play the underdog like they always do. If they had any real power they would fold like a pack of kleenex.
  20. It is ridiculous, given that all major parties have scooted along the line between left, centre and right multiple times over the last 30+ years. You have had people who decry policies from the hills as they come from the 'opposition', but embrace them when they come from their own. I personally think that being a 'floating voter' and switching based on issues of the day is the only real responsible position to take. I've voted for pretty much everyone at some point, depending on the country's need. I'm not a natural Labour voter, but we need them right now.
  21. I for one welcome our furry overlord. He campaigned on a ticket of free fish and belly rubs for all. Those who disobey to receive a ritual claw to the lip at 3am every morning.
  22. Yeah, it was a pretty untenable position he inherited. Fwiw, I always felt he was a veneer of competence, but that the problems he had were utter sock jobs in the cabinet and beyond. He was never going to be relatable though, because he isn't. I think he did a job, but he had no possible chance of winning an election after Truss and Boris.
  23. Classy speech by the new incumbent there too btw. No gloating and thanked Truss for her service. Amazing restraint that would have been well beyond me.
