Great. It's still a waste. The only instance I have been able to find where 3 GKs have been used in a match is West Ham in 1986, and a cup game involving Shrewsbury in 1982. And Valladolid in La Liga, also in 1986, but the third GK came on as a CB, which kind of reinforces my point. Happy to accommodate and change my mind if you or anyone else can find other examples.
Edit. As an aside, only 4 teams have ever used 3 goalkeepers at a world cup, and that is across the whole tournament.
That's a terrible idea. Maintain a contingency against something that happens in 1 game every 5 seasons, while removing a potentially game changing substitute. OK not for us as yet, cos our squad is thin, but in general.
Me too, I genuinely thought Callous Cruella's naval escapades would strike a chord with the baser elements of the nation's psyche, but I'm glad to see it's not more widespread.
It's fair to say the BBC have not covered themselves in glory over this one.
Sort of with you. I don't mind them, but they are not even the best Maccies burger (quarter pounder with cheese). Maccies are ok when you are in a rush or ain't got much dosh, but there are much better out there, granted. Can't be doing with Burger King though. I'm always horribly disappointed by them.
I agree with you, but a proper kiwi burger (as made by our antipodean friends) is amazing. Normal burger with toppings etc, but below the meat is a slice of beetroot and a fried egg. I was skeptical but had one in NZ and it was freaking incredible.
I like the NFL, but love baseball. Got no real allegiances now but used to follow the Yankees during the 90's.
Unfortunately the options to watch either sport on terrestrial TV are almost zero, so I've lost interest a bit.
