Did a Spurs scout take pictures of the ref cheating on his missus last week or something? Absolutely shocking.
Absolute best case scenario that was incompetent.
Brighton will quite rightly be fuming, and it raises some very uncomfortable questions about possible corruption. It needs to be thoroughly investigated. But it won't be.
Whilst I'm glad we have Bertie stepping up into form just at the right time, we're so bare bones now that it's just marrow. Sad to lose Bailey for that reason alone, although I thought he might have had more to say as the season panned out.
Another keeper on the bench, I guess.
I don't see how it's much different from, say, Liverpool exploiting commercial exposure in Asia. It's an opportunity for them, so fair play. Plus there is in influx of money towards the bottom of the pyramid for a change. That will find it's way through a number of lower clubs via transfers etc.
In fairness, we've played 3 games in 8 days and don't have any backups to freshen things up. Not sure who was expecting dynamism today, but it was always quite unlikely.
Indeed, and I am aware that UE is not averse to an asymmetric system. Konsa, Guendouzi and a tucked in 9/10 on one side, with Moreno and a traditional winger on the other could work.
Use guns to build houses. Obvious really. An overlooked building material.
This is the things with guns. People compare gun crime to knife crime, but a gun serves one purpose and one purpose only. While it is a daft idea to ban knives, banning guns would have absolutely no effect on society whatsoever, aside from not having a big chunk of said society in the morgue.
Sounds weird but it depends what we do with Bailey. If we get a winger, a naturally wide player I'm with you. If we go more for an inside forward/CAM hybrid, then I worry about attacking width on that side. Konsa would be great defensively but we would need someone who can step up and cross.
