  1. They are probably absolutely knackered. Most of them have played in most of our games.
  2. For me the message and gesture is in very poor taste, but not for the reasons mentioned above. It's not that they lost, or even that they lost heavily, it's the fact that by sending this message, the players are accepting culpability. The only thing a player can be culpable of is not trying their best. Everything else, their place in the team, their selection, their recruitment, everything else is on the management team. By accepting culpability the players are admitting that they were at fault in their only job- endeavour. And as a result the manager lost his job (I couldn't stand him, but that's irrelevant). His sacking is therefore the fault of the players, and I think that's pretty disgusting. I wouldn't want any of those players anywhere near VP, unless they are driving past on their way to Manchester on the M6.
  3. Sacked after 4 games. Ouch. He was acting like a knob, though, so not too much sympathy.
  4. Uch. Repulsive Man U. Can't stand City but I still hope they put 10 past Man U.
  5. Oh man that would be sweet. I don't think anything good has happened to me or the world since then.
  6. Switched on to see the score. First thing I saw was Bruno on the floor whinging like a little bitch. Nope. Off.
  7. You mean Jeff? Anyway there is only so much information you need to know about Wrexham: Road out to the North goes to Liverpool. Road to East goes to Shrewsbury, road to West goes to Aberystwyth, and the one to the south goes to Ludlow. Job done.
  8. There is a lot of this denouncing for economic inequality, but how is this any different to anything that any club does to raise finances? The owners use personal wealth and profile to further the success of the club. Every team and every owner does this. The only difference is the disparity between the profile and wealth of Wrexham's owners and the rest of the league. I don't see how RR and RM can win. If they buy a team higher I the pyramid they are 'tourists', buying a plaything. They buy a lowly team and they are 'Man City'. From my understanding, they have gone in at grass roots paid respects to the town and the club and league's heritage, and brought new economic boosts to Wrexham, directly and indirectly. Fair play to them. Who was talking about Wrexham as a town 5 years ago.
  9. I suspect the original plan was to keep it tight, and use the energy of the subs to knock them off late on in the proceedings, but the Brentford Goal and Emi put paid to that.
  10. Well we played rubbish, lost arguably out best player, conceded the first goal, and still didn't lose, so I guess I'll take that. Just hope to Christ Emi is back soon.
  11. Feeling unwell, hopefully that's just a virus or summat, and just a couple of days. Chalk this one off to experience and move on.
  12. Well....someone thinks a lot of themselves......don't they?
  13. Watch that talk, it could become extremely painful...................FoR yOu.
  14. One of us is probably right, and I'm not mega confident it's me
  15. In the Prem I believe it was 92-93 under large Ronald. Think they did 7.
  16. Man if anybody needs a nice hard dose of karma it's him.
  17. Surely they will have experienced that before over the last year or so. They probably think we're jealous of that nasty GBH-monger.
  18. We've done well against the press in recent games. Cautiously optimistic about this one.
  19. Probably a bunch of legal malarkey going on behind the scenes.
  20. How do they reconcile that Russia attacked first, and no fighting has ever taken place in Russia?
