Well to ease your minds, Sam hasn't managed in 2 years. At his last job he managed an impressive 0.73 points per game, with a win ratio of 15%, and a loss ratio of 57%.
Also, he's not lasted more than a year in a job since 2015. His last 4 appointments have lasted under 200 days.
I just worry about our stamina/freshness for this one. I don't think it's a coincidence that we are dropping off a bit toward the end of the season. Our squad is as deep as a puddle.
I see some posts mentioning his finishing and that he could have got more goals for us.
Worth pointing out that he has the 9th best goals to games ratio of all time for Villa, behind; Pongo Waring, Dai Astley (?), Len Capewell (?), George Brown, Tony Hateley, Trevor Ford, Gerry Hitchens, and Frank Broome.
Obviously none of those were recent.
No, I agree, and apologies if it's not clear, but I alluded to the injury, but I'm just thinking that a dynamic fullback who can move out of defence on the transition and start counters would be good. I know Unai tends to go asymmetric in terms of his full backs and have one more defensively minded, but I was just starting a convo.
Perhaps I should have used Trent as a template?
Not that he'd join, and he's had a few injury issues, but someone in the style of Tariq Lamptey would be good. Pacey, and can step forward with the ball.
Not confident we'll win, but I am confident that Unai will have a plan to give us our best chance. Likely VAR to spend 8 minutes looking for issues whenever we get within 100ft of their goal.
I see your point, but I disagree. When you buy a match ticket, you are buying access to the event, to watch a game of football. You are not buying a ticket to watch your team win. Win lose or draw, you got what you paid for.
Liverpool play Spurs next, so whatever the result, one of them go above us, even if just on GD. Brighton play Wolves, Man U and Everton, none of which are fighting for our position right now.
So maybe not 8th, but 7th if Brighton win them all.
Again, not saying it will happen, and I'm loving where we are right now, but the work is not over just yet.
Weeeelllll. Whilst I'm loving the optimism, I think we need a bit of a reality check here. If the three teams below us win their games in hand they will be above us and we'll be 8th, so while it is a good position to be in, we need to not go mental as a fan base if we drop a bit (not that i'm implying you would, I mean the wider 'we').
The more I think about this, the more questions I have, really.
Since it doesn't know you, presumably you still have to put in your job history, exam results, name, address, personal details etc. Which seems to me to be most of, if not all of the contents of a CV.
What exactly did the Chat GPT do? I'm just puzzled and curious.
Hadn't played a Resident Evil game since the first one on PS1.
Got my hands on a copy of RE7 the other day. Holy hell what happened to those games!!! I fair shat my pants after about 15 minutes playing. It's like 18 shades of nope.
