I think even with the media clamour, everyone is sort of downplaying how hard that shot was to pull off. He's at a tight angle, covered by a defender. XG on that shot must have been pretty low. It was a world class strike. Edit. I just checked and the xG is being quoted as 0.06. Wow. What a goal.

BBC are running an article charting Ollie's rise from Weston-super-Mare to the Euro's. While it's a decent piece, and I'm loving the new publicity, I do find it a bit odd that this is being portrayed as a 'no one saw this coming' kind of deal, given that he topped or nearly topped almost every metric for strikers in the PL last season, and got us into the CL. It's not like he was picked for England while playing for Stevenage.

Yeah I was being a bit facetious, but you can bet Heck is kicking himself a little bit this Morning, or maybe looking at ways to expedite the launch or to ride the wave. In the long term it can only be absolutely brilliant news that everyone in the country and beyond is hailing the rise of a new superstar. And he plays for Villa. Yeaaaaahh booooiiiiii.

You were not wrong about Fifa 16. The AI is definitely better than the current game, and the balance of the game is also significantly better. Animations are a bit basic compared to now, and even slowed down with Sliders the passing is a little bit too fast, but there is actually a feeling of accomplishment when scoring, or winning that has been lost.
