Could at least part of this is down to Russian meddling in the 2016 election?
It feels like conservative America not only bought into the disruptive lies peddled by Russian bot farms, but adopted them as core values.
The problem I have with the take they presented on MOTD was that they just assumed we'd play like that regardless of opposition. Kane and Son, for their strengths are not massively quick, so it's much less of a risk. And we've got pacey CBs, so it can be our preferred style, but we'll not be on the halfway line for Liverpool, clearly.
The lack of faith the media in the UK have of Emery is just astonishing.
The rules of gutterball where I grew up:
2 players, one on each pavement. Aim to bounce the ball off the corner of the curb. If you catch it, there are no points scored immediately, but you get to move to the middle of the road. You then get a point for each bounce/catch. Until you miss, when you go back to the pavement. First to 10 points wins.
Edit, no I got it wrong. You only need to get it to bounce back along the floor in the first instance to get to the middle. Aim for the gutter to get a rebound.
Delving into some old memories here.
Braverman:
There is no reason why we can't train our own fruit pickers to keep migration down.
'Cos that's why folk come over to work in our fruit fields- training. I mean even if that codswallop were true, she is saying that we want to lower the number of foreign workers who come to our country with skills we don't have. That is crazy Brexiteer madness.
But it isn't true, because they were and are brought in because no one in this country wants to work that hard for that little pay. If we pay fruit pickers what they should be earning to interest British workers, we would have to raise fruit prices enormously and admit that our farming industry is horribly uncompetitive.
Bloody tories.
I have a feeling that taking pictures of someone's house might be frowned upon, haha. But rest assured it was in the window of an apartment close to the centre of town!
As a new convert I was chuffed.
