I understand why Deano took over at Leicester, but I maintain it was a bad choice.
The next two games are undoubtedly the most important of his career, including the playoff win for us. If he goes down I can't see him anywhere near the Prem again for a while, if ever.
Good luck, gaffer.
Largely agree, but I would put Ings to Avg., Olsen to terrible. I think it's also pretty unfair on El Ghazi tbh. He was not Prem standard, but for where we were he was decent. Sometimes more than decent (ahem Playoff final).
I alsoas sume that Carlos and Duran are the TBC part of that column, as I still think (Carlos in particular) can end up being really good for us.
Edit, sorry just seen that you prefaced it by saying 'since promotion'. My bad.
Agreed regarding points, I meant that we will need a win against Brighton to have any hope of beating Spurs in the race, although Brighton haven't escaped us just yet. It all comes down to holding their nerve. Unlikely yes, impossible, no.
And also agreed, wherever we finish, UE has done wonders even getting us in the mix.
Brighton won't beat Man City if they play like they did this week. The Soton game is an unbelievably big game for Brighton, and will come with unbelievably big pressure.
I've used drone photogrammetry as part of my work, and the resolution I can get with a crappy drone and a DSLR camera is astonishing.
What they can get with top of the line cameras and submersibles would be unbelievable, and I don't think any videos like the one above will do it justice. They will probably be able to to basic metallurgical analysis by looking at the scuffs and scrapes, it's that good.
All quite exciting (in a sombre way) really.
If he comes back here he will obviously be an understudy to Ollie, so the question shouldn't be whether he's a PL starter, but whether he can impact the game as a sub.
While I really really want Jhon to kick on (and I'm not writing him off by a long measure), I would argue that Archer would have had more impact for us this season in that role than Duran has. For now.
TBH from the time we first had kids, our priorities for eating out changed from 'where can I get the nicest food' to 'where will the damage my children cause to the furniture be unobtrusive'.
We started eating at TGIs a bit more. There is always shit being thrown around in there. They have a motorbike inside for god sake.
I must admit I don't 'get' Nandos, but they have an almost religious following, so I'm willing to admit that maybe I'm in the wrong there.
Edit: but I'm not wrong about religion.
Fair enough. Agree about the price, but I will say it tasted great. It was just like regular burger joint food, but with good quality ingredients. The tomatoes and onions were just...tastier.
That said it could not compare with the mighty GBK, which (to keep it on topic) I can also not afford, haha.
I tried Five Guys a while back. can't afford to eat there much.
I was quite disappointed after the hype to find it was a standard burger, no bells or whistles, and standard fries.
Then I tried it, and I have to admit it was a fantastic tasting standard burger and fries. Right up there. Not sure it's worth the money you pay, but the standard is (or at least was in the joint I went to) excellent.
