Typical. First badge I've not hated in 16 years and it turns out to be a do-over.

I think it's cos we all realise that this is our chance. Possibly our only chance in at least a generation to mix it with the big boys. The stakes are massively high. Everyone is nervous and they don't want us to waste this golden opportunity. In some folk this nervousness will manifest as negativity, at least in part because they want to be reassured that we won't miss the golden ticket.

I know nothing about him but: 'Similar Players- Trincao'? If that's true, er..yes please. Always a bit dubious of players coming in from Eredivisie. For every Suarez there are at least 3 Brett Holmans, but if Unai likes him.

Agreed. Wagner is not a political organisation, and this coup attempt is not a popular uprising. They are a gun. Worst comes to worst we take him out after he gets Putin. I thought last night Prigozhin was trying to give Putin an out by blaming everything on the defence secretary and saying Putin had been lied to, but opportunities to de-escalate pass Putin like clouds. -
I'm assuming this tradition is at least partly a hold-over from Andalucia being historically under Muslim rule? I know that was the case, but not any details. Asking those who do I assume it is a cultural relic?

Yes and no. You are right about the logo itself, but I would suggest that the overall image and perception of the club does impact, even subconsciously. 'How could I say no to signing for [Insert random club with good image that has not won anything for ages here], they are a massive club'. The words 'massive club' in this instance being a euphemism for 'I have a good feeling about this'. Edit- as long as the wages are competitive, obvs

I'd be pretty narked if I was Emery. We're stretching to sign top players, and Unai is doing everything he can to get them to buy in to the project, and after yesterday it looks as though we are in two minds as to what we want our identity to be. Does not project confidence.

I've always wanted Cadbury's as a sponsor. That would be awesome. I know it's South Brum, but their alternative would be those who shall not be named, or the carrier bags, so obv choice for me.
