  1. He was chucked out for inappropriate behaviour to a female member of the production staff. Nothing to do with Israel. He is currently under police investigation for the incident.
  2. No they are, it’s where lunatic policies go to die
  3. I’ll happily execute him if you want to be disassociated with the punishment
  4. Tonight predicted too if you can stay awake during that overly happy song thing
  5. There’s some BBC music compilation on the tellybox Tina Turner is currently singing Help! From way back when She looks and sounds in pain Its no more that she deserves for singing that shite
  6. Even melted cheese needs butter
  7. Hold on a minute…
  8. Fresh crusty bread and fresh soup almost demand the bread be buttered, not only buttered but lavishly so
  9. After last weeks total F***up I might as well have some fun BB active and -12 for 13 doubles
  10. @Genieyou certainly can't at Tesco or the two completely unstaffed ones that I use. Can you use them to fill up an unspecified amount or do you literally have to pay first then get your fuel. I suspect if using contactless you have to specify the amount of fuel and pay for it before you get it. That's useless for me
  11. Pretty sure you can't. Every pay at pump I've ever encountered pre-authorises a payment (usually £100) before you take any fuel. You firstly can't pre-authorise with a contactless payment and the petrol station aren't going to let you fill up without knowing your card details first
  12. Yes there is. The availability of contactless payment methods isn't ubiquitous For example, you cant do a contactless payment at a pay at pump petrol station
  13. For us it was more of a cost / health thing than something we've always done

If I call them tweets, everyone knows what I'm talking about. I'm not playing his game

Well thats my point, BBC used to just show the tweet, now you have to opt in to see tweets. If other sites follow, as they might, then it will reduce engagement
  16. I make it 2 or 3 times a week for me and the missus to take to work for lunch
  17. Left handed wrong 'uns I guess

I see the BBC have started asking you if you want Tweets displayed on the page and suggesting you read Twitter's privacy policy before you accept I wonder if other news sites will follow? It could play a small part in reducing Twitters reach if people choose not to
  19. Insanity, the all or nothing loss strategy
  20. It feels more like the fall of the Roman Empire. I seriously think we're living in a period that will be studied by political historians for a very long time
  21. Yes, my soup maker only takes half an hour to make soup. Get up in the morning, have a coffee, chop all my ingredients, chuck them in the soup maker, go have shower etc with no fear of a ban boiling over or burning. So yes most definitely No clue on this thermowotsit, I have no intention of ever spending that much money on a luxury kitchen device. My soup maker isn't in that price bracket at all, not only that its a food blender, can make smoothies, ice cream and all sorts of other stuff
  22. We had a big Heads of Department meeting last week and system changes were required and a new way of dispatching bookings in the city centre plus other changes. I was a lone voice against the changes but we put them into place today as agreed... Drivers are up in arms about some of the changes and some of the things I said in the meeting (against the changes) have already been shown to be true in under 4 hours. 2 drivers have left and people are now running around in blind panic over what they've caused Me, I'm just having a quiet little snigger to myself
