Trust me, if Starmer and Sunak attended ALL the debates you'd be absolutely sick of them more than you are now. Firstly, I'm largely of the opinion that there are too many debates, I's be perfectly happy with none. Just like it always used to be by the way, they are a modern phenomenon from the last few elections If they are as badly moderated as all of them have been so far then they are utterly pointless. There are far better ways for parties to get their message across than these debates, not one of them has shifted public opinion much at all

Yes exactly, its third on the list of Plaid target seats and the smallest difference on the list between Plaid and the leading Party in a seat (Plaid lead in two) Hence my assertion that electoral calculus model isn't as good as people think it is. There is no third Plaid Seat in play unless something mental happens

Thinking out loud moment. I'm wondering if England in the Euros will help or hinder Reform? I have no real idea, part of me thinks it'll take the attention span of a good chunk of their amoeba like supporters away from the election. Right now there's nothing happening to distract them.

I'm really not sure the Electoral Calculus model works anymore, I suspect they've never really dialled in such a low Tory share of the vote I also really think it has to be exceptional, as mentioned previously, that Plaid get 3 MPs, the third seat presumably is Llanelli and they really do have to climb a mountain there

Nah, it’s not a radio thing, it has multiple pressings in different countries and even at least three different covers (yellow / red / with a heart) and was originally released in 1962 but released multiple times up to 1967 (which is when the UK version was released) Strange thing

They had MPs in the 80s. The Gang of 4 split from the Labour Party. Shirley Williams, David Owen, Roy Jenkins and the other one. Won a couple of by-elections, Crosby and Glasgow Hillhead. Then they went into an Alliance with the Liberals and eventually the combined parties became the Liberal Democrats except the were factions of the original parties that refused to join the new party and both the Liberal Party and the SDP still exist today. Yes there is a Liberal Party and a Liberal Democrat Party. In Liverpool we have councillors of both Orange varieties.

This was in the haul. Never heard it before but some research tells me it was Manzanera's first solo album released in 1975 I think apart from Brian Ferry, every member of Roxy Music features as does Robert Wyatt (on the opening track), Eno is even singing It may just be slipping into the keeper pile. I mean it’s not fantastic but it is a curio for the collection
