  1. Are you talking about the 50th World Economic Forum or the conspiracy theory?
  2. You realise they'll be returning to work and replacing other health workers who have subsequently tested positive. It's really not as simple as "They'll be back soon"
  3. His voice reminds me of early Ben Watt. A bit of sychronisity here, this popped up on my Spotify last week and this morning I'm playing an Erased Tapes compilation released on RSD this year, which I haven't paid that much attention to and it turns out that its on that. I like it
  4. Cardiff has been the capital of Wales for 66 years today.
  5. Some of it may have done but by no means all of it not by a long way. Hare coursing used to be really popular, as a sport, it's where Greyhound racing originates from in much the same way as horse racing comes from fox hunting and the like Just look at how many people go fishing even in this day an age. Fishing is hunting, all the talk about fishermen really caring for the fish and put them back, doesn't change that. I'm sure the fish would much rather be left alone, even the ones that get put back unharmed
  6. Nah, she's going to be the new host of Homes under the Hammer or some other Tory Daytime Porn Flick
  7. We didn't have 44 Covid deaths yesterday as has already been explained above Right now incidence of Influenza is very low if you'd read what I posted. In week 49 of 2021 the were only 68 positive test done in all the labs in the UK that reported results into the scheme by contrast there were over 2500 positive Covid tests. 2.2% of the tests for Covid were positive om;ly 1,2% of the flu ones. Incidence of flu is much lower than Covid right now, given that its also known that its less deadly than Covid, do you honestly think that right now more people are dying of flu than covid?
  8. Andrew Marr left the BBC yesterday too (also previously announced) I wonder where he'll pop up next to not ask the obvious question that needs asking and not press any member of the Conservative Party to give a straight answer (actually, I don't care at all)
  9. I thought the same last week but it was pointed out to me that she announced it much earlier in the year Agree with the impartiality though, she never came close to the benchmark
  10. Can you evidence this please? I'll evidence that your talking shite ahead of your answer Weekly Covid and Influenza Report for Week 49 2021 (Page 21) - We are currently in week 51 these are the latest figures available In a nutshell, rates of infection with Influenza are very low right now so how more people of dying with it than COVID is beyond reasoning
  11. Absolutely wrong and utter rubbish. The scientists model expected outcomes only one of those outcomes is the worst case scenario, there are many other outcomes as a result of that modelling. The models establish the most likely outcomes and that is what is presented to the government.
  12. Sorry, you said walking, I thought you said something else
  13. Well in my world that's got a name... Tinnitus
  14. This is the story in the Times The Times
  15. If you actually believe that was why Frost resigned, I don't believe it for one minute. It's also rumoured that Frost was furious about the resignation letter he was made to sign Frost resigned because his Brexit dream is in tatters Johnson has appointed another Brexit Throbber as Minister for Europe but you'll notice the new Minister will seemingly have nothing to do with any negotiations, that will be down to Truss
  16. I've never liked the La's either Mike Badger was the one that came up with the name. Then they got their Princes Trust Grant, Lee Mavers and John Powers went and spunked the entire grand on weed and Mike Badger left. Or so the story went at the time I seem to remember The Onset supporting Benny profane at a few gigs (Residency at the Monro pub iirc for one of them)
  17. Did they not learn from last time they sent Raab in to bat out partygate. The pussycat that is Andrew Marr managed to get him to say "If there was a party they were breaking the law" I think it goes like this... "Who wants to go on telly and say it was a works meeting?" Everyone but Raab takes one pace backwards "Ah f*** but he's all we've got"
  18. Isolating after testing positive isn't advice, its the law
  19. A whole month after Allegra Stratton assumed her role at the Treasury, no less
  20. Just the one, one is enough
  21. You are quite correct, they are foul but they are the taste of Christmas Past And I reckon they won't stay in the cupboard longer that the jars of fruit in syrup that my missus always buys at this time of the year and NEVER uses and we end up throwing them out two years later
  22. The missus is WFH tomorrow, she may be accepting an unexpected delivery. I have discovered that Amazon sell the true taste of Xmas Cheese Footballs
