  1. Yes, you were complaining about resitrictions that hadn't been brought in and now you've returned to have some sort of gloat about the restrictions not being brought in but have decided to turn it into something with sides, where you were right and they were wrong, when in fact the reality is, you were wrong all along Quite frankly, your posts are utterly bizarre
  2. That stuff has been going on a while tbh, sometimes its nice to own. I have a coffee table sized hardback book of Sigur Ros' Með Suð Í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust album that includes an actual piece of a film still and a DVD. All the pixtures in this massive book are stills from the vdeos, thatsn massive though. I also have a few multi CD "Boxsets" that are in book format. I agree I like them but they are a pain storage wise as I have CD specific shelves
  3. As I remember it, it was you that was complaining about the restrictions that you thought were being brought in I also remember you saying you were leaving this topic And now you've returned to rewrite history, you seem to want to gloat about something that didn't happen.
  4. It's the hardback CD version If the cover is autographed, it was bought from the bands website directly, if it has a card inside with autographs, it was bought from Amazon. Yep thats the Manics, the Generation Terrorists, fighters of corporate oppression, encouraging people to give money to Bezos
  5. Don't know that I've specifically bought anything tbh I had Neu!, Can and DAF before I owned any of these compilations. I also have Roedelius stuff and possibly Harmonia somewhere. And obviously Kraftwerk but they don't appear on these compilations
  6. Just being faithful to the original release
  7. Nah, he was one of my picks last year, I've dropped him this year so he'll be a shoe in
  8. My current intention is to play all four albums in the box
  9. Will you all piss off picking Shannen Doherty I'm going to edit my pick
  10. Jebus, three more years.... BBC I think I'd rather wake up everyday in the hope that they've split up rather than have to wait three whole years
  11. Its because he's looking at the floor through his japs eye
  12. I’ve posted it before but a little chill with some library music this morning
  13. The point is, in a restaurant setting wearing a mask at any point is utterly futile when for the majority of the time most people will be unmasked. Social distancing will have no effect when the virus is airbourne Wearing a mask works in say a supermarket setting where everybody will be wearing a mask, that will prevent a good proportion of the virus getting airbourne but in a setting where people are unmasked most of the time it's pointless.
  14. Your missing the fact that its an airbourne virus and the two meter distancing rule is based on science that was wrong 60 years ago. If you take your mask off for the majority of the time in the restaurant and have the virus you will spread it throughout the restaurant when you are sat at your table, you will get infected by other people whilst sat at your table. The wearing of masks to go to the toilet is therefore pissing in the wind. The two meter distancing rule is based on the idea that the virus particles are too big to be airbourne because they are above 5 microns (iirc that was the measurement). The 2MDR is based on the particles not being airbourne as they are above 5 microns but its already been proved that they are airbourne, so all the advice given about public places is based on a totally false premise that particles above 5 microns can't be airbourne Upthread there is an article in Wired that explains it all. The solution isn't about masks and distancing, it is about good ventilation. The advice we've been given by WHO and governments has been wrong the whole time
  15. Did anyone post about Ray Illingworth dying on Christmas Eve? Currently holds the record of being the oldest player to ever play in a One Day International having captained England in the first ever ODI in 1971 Don't think anyone had him
  16. I think that is a perfectly valid point ... says a man who has just bought 2 Moon Duo albums in the Rough Trade Sale, when he already has 3 (and 3 Rose City Band and 5 Wooden Shjips)... That will take me to 13 Ripley Johnson albums
  17. Vanessa Redgrave (Former WRP Activist) Mohammed Al Fayed (Former Corner Shop Owner) Imelda Marcos (Shoe Collector) Piers Corbyn (One of the Dangerous Brothers) Nichelle Nichols (Inter-Racial Snogger)
  18. Going a little darker The White Hag Brewery from Sligo, Fiadh Mór Export Red Ale. 5.8% Like this a lot, I think I've had it's little brother the normal strength one and liked that too
  19. Next was this Spectacularly unspectacular but a decent sessionable pale ale
