  1. And the odious Julia Hartley-Brewer seems to be facing some sort of crisis now, she’s been parroting Reform attack lines throughout the election but… the Russia comments seem to have woken her up and now she's criticising that. Wait until she finally realises that Farage is a resident of Belgium and pays his taxes there…
  2. Reform nutjobs are describing Nick Robinson as a left wing BBC journalist Former Chairman of the Young Conservatives and former President of the Oxford University Conservative Association, that Nick Robinson. The delusion is strong.
  3. Not going to happen. Labour estranged Corbynistas and Tory NIMBYs will eventually eat themselves
  4. My favourite Reform voter this week is almost certainly the bloke called Jason who blamed immigration for him not being able to get a job (interviewed by Sky iirc) He neglected to say that he’s a convicted sex offender and paedophile
  5. Oh some of them are in deep talking about the Budapest Memorandum being broken… well kudos to them for realising it exists but they don’t really understand what it is or what it says.
  6. Better hope it’s not Floodstock…. Soz couldn’t resist
  7. I think that’s true for the long-standing 6%, I'm not so sure about the other 9-14% The other important thing is that there are others who haven’t fallen down the hole yet and continually reiterating the point might prevent them from doing so
  8. Was it true that a lot of the bands at Download played, product touring sets and not festival sets?
  9. Well it’s the first big slip of the mask but some of them are so far down the rabbit hole they won’t be able to dig themselves out and retain their dignity so they’ll keep on supporting the shilling. The point really needs to be hammered back at him by all parties, all of them and the media. It’s not new, he’s been going on years but I’m shocked he’s been daft enough to mention it so explicitly in this interview. There plenty of evidence of him supporting Russian lines when he actually turned up to the European Parliament It also shouldn’t just be Farage that has to answer these questions, it’s All the candidates! Especially 30p Lee as he'll find it particularly hard to twist
  10. Bookies have very low maximums on political betting
  11. I'd be quite relieved at this point that the Tories are on 30% and Reform on only 10% I'm finding the rise of Reform rather troublesome If 3/4 of the right wing vote in a seat is Tory over Reform, its a small win at least
  12. you might as well be flat earthers
  13. Yes but its a leap year which the planets don't take into account
  14. This one could be very amusing from Mercer. He made the allegations when he left the hustings last night and he's doubling down on it all day.
  15. I still don't understand how someone serving a community sentence gets to go on holiday abroad. I also don't understand the judges reasoning for community sentence in the first place.
  16. Oh and another Green target Seat... Similar story to above, except this should be a 60/40 toss up between Tory/Lab
  17. This is some wild wild polling. The Greens have been targeting this. Best for Britain are saying Green for a tactical vote but Electoral Calculus have it as a 90% chance of a Tory win, 8% Labour and 2% Tory BfB's latest poll had this as a toss up between Tory and Green but there was still a 6% gap between them in the Tories favour If the Greens do indeed win this seat then the Tory Party is beyond f***ed Shame its a mainly rural seat as it will declare later
  18. Every election since 2001 has had an increased turnout with the exception of 2019 when it dipped to just under 68% The general trend is upwards not downwards
  19. I have no evidence for this but the internet has changed a lot of peoples perceptions, I think it's relatively hard for any leader to even get into positive figures these days I'm not sure that particular aspect of polling is a fair comparison 1997 to 2024
  20. When his new ode to Grealish is released?
  21. If you're talking about the Labour polling figures in 1997, then yes but the polling significantly over estimated Labour's share of the vote (and underestimated the LibDems) - final polling was about 48%, Labour got around 42% I really don't remember pro-Labour sentiment then either, it was much more get rid of the Tories sentiment.
