  1. The king of absolutely brilliant albums that are awkward to store.... If I take out any other CD in that section, it rolls off the shelf
  2. Yep, if you were to pick one Spititualised album for a collection, that would be my choice every time
  3. It's literally what you did, look it up in the guidelines
  4. That was after you confessed to posting for effect and complained about the topic being unwelcoming.
  5. What an album, what clever packaging, bugger to store
  6. I'm waiting for a go on this. I bought it for the Missus for Xmas (she'd been expressing a desire to try Japanese Whisky) She hasn't opened it yet though
  7. Yep, it's me putting a negative slant on those two statements, silly me for not seeing the rainbows and unicorns they were wrapped in
  8. Yes you did No-one said that was you, that was me Because you said "it was yopur little joke", you actually said it yourself Your ignorance, no-one else's. SIgur Ros as already demonstrated are not remotely obscure No one said you did, I'm on my high horse because you came into a topic, started a conversation and then called the topic unwelcoming when it was you that was taking the piss in the first place, nothing to do with music opinions, you taking the piss and then having the gall to call the people active in the topic unwelcoming It isn't, you were the one taking piss and are now complaining it isn't welcoming, yes thats downright strange
  9. So hold on, you initiated a conversation, in which the only criticism of the album you were talking about was that MSP were encouraging people to use Amazon. You then decided to take the piss out of what I was saying (when I was actually agreeing with you about CD/Book format) and you don't find it very welcoming? Very strange!
  10. They must be, Takk only sold 300,000 albums in the UK (Platinum) with music from the album being used in Planet Earth, Match of the Day, Top Gear, Wimbledon, Formula One, We Bought a Zoo... Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust only sold 100,000 (Gold) in the UK so its probably considered very obscure Very niche they are
  11. On a side note, thats about the only boxing match up that I'd genuinely pay money to see
  12. Yeah MCDonalds are a differen beast, the mark up on everything in there is mindbendingly huge
  13. In reality they don't give a shit how much they give you. Post mix soft drinks cost pennies a glass, the mark up on them is absolutely mindbendingly huge
  14. I remember it full of steam trains waiting to be broken up. I have a distinct memory of going on a summer Miners Welfare trip to Barry Island Fair and persuading my Grandad that the train scrap yard would be more interesting and he agreed. Security in such places really wasn't what it would be today. Spent a couple of hours just wandering up and down lines of rusting locomotives, even climbing up into the cab of some of them. No-one challenged us and then we went back to the fair and had much less fun You know all these Urban Explorers you get today, well that was me from about the age of 7. We regularly used to walk up the mountaim to a disused mine (Tower Number 2 iirc) The mine shaft was just open, it hadn't even been bricked up and there were plenty of other derelict industrial buildings to explore, they were our playgrounds and no one batted an eyelid. Even opposite my Grandads house was the remains of the old village station. I think I could still work out the complete layout of the building even now because I used to ask my Great Uncle all about it, he lived next door and was the Station Master until Beeching got his way ANyway, thats got sod all to do with Xmas apart from Xmas would be one of those times that we'd do it
  15. I do believe the wife of our current manager may have been the one that started this trend, if it wasn't her, she was very close to the epicentre of it's genesis i.e. LFC WAGS
  16. The story is about how they got the WHO to accept the science
  17. I can count on one hand the amount of people I’ve seen wearing them correctly during the pandemic and I’m not one of those people
  18. Yes. It also doesn’t need a current Peer Reviewed paper in relation to the pandemic because that’s not where the research came from. There’s an article I posted from Wired where the mistake is explained and a meeting where it happened with the WHO, who closed down the conversation with a leading authority of movement of particles in the air because they were rigidly sticking to the 5 micron definition of airborne particles. The article is a story about the woman who had to battle with them to get them to understand that 60 year old definition was wrong. I posted a link to the article about a week ago
  19. All depends on the airflow in the space but as most restaurants have A/C and probably again most have the wrong sort of A/C (the right sort with the correct filters are very expensive), it doesn't really take any time at all
  20. Wrong, that is the percieved wisdom from the likes of WHO, which has been passed down via Governments. It is based on something that was accepted as scientific "fact" 60 years ago and it isn't true. That advice is based on the virus not being airbourne because its particles are greater than 5 microns, which 60 years ago was the acceptable limit for airbourne particles. It has been demonstrated since that this is not the case and isn't the case with COVID The virus is airbourne, the whole social distancing / mask wearing in communal areas thing is pointless when you aren't required to wear them in non-communal areas of the same space, just sitting at the table you will infect people on the other side of the room because it's an airbourne virus. Thats why putting a mask on to go to the toilet is almost pointless
  21. Maybe try contributing to the debate and understand the points being made instead of meaningless comments like this one I've explained why masks in a restaurant setting are pointless do you have any point that disproves this?
  22. Well, I have Faust on downloaded from the high seas CDrs and if I ever won the lottery I'd buy the recent box set but... I will get around to getting some Faust at somepoint, they are somewhere in the middle of the list (Alternate Answer: Don't be silly, their name isn't three letters)
  23. You should love it, it's their country period
  24. Thread of replies to tweets that this account has recieved this year, some are really funny
