  1. That game has been running for at least 6 months, no one is at yet winning but I'm sure he has a mobile phone with him
  2. In his own back garden, where he is the person ultimately responsible for making the rules. Really how does that circle get squared. I'm all for him not resigning right now though, keep the pantomime going a little longer and a little deeper into peoples heads, the longer it goes on, the longer it buries the Tory Party
  3. Partygate will soon calm down especially if Boris does jump (or eventually pushed) but this corruption, whilst it may not currently stick as much as the lying, really is what should do for the absolute lot of them. This corruption goes far and wide in the Party, to use a word the Tories want to use, it's endemic
  4. Not really because they still have to get over the hurdle that they for a number of years supported Johnson and backed him through ALL the shit that got thrown at him. The stench of Johnson won't just go away with a new leader
  5. See, I think it's a little more Machiavellian that this Cast your mind back to the weeekend... the big story on Sunday was meant to be for Gove and the cladding but something happenned... All of a sudden The Sunday Times printed a story about us having to pay for Lateral Flow Tests, which then became the big Sunday story because Wassisface The Education Secretary had to go on TV and say it was bollocks, Gove and his cladding was nowhere to be seen for the rest of the day and whilst it still happened it's no longer the big weekend story which Gove obviously wanted, now I have no idea if the Sunday Times were fed the story or they just made it up, it doesn't really matter because the story was obviously bollocks and designed to take the wind out of Gove's sails.... Fast forward to yesterday, Gove's story was still getting a bit of attention and.... Bing Boris' Party Number 85788758475 has again knocked the wind of of Gove's sails It isn't Gove leaking these stories but imagine if you lived in a flat in Downing Street and actually shared a garden with the Prime Minister, now you imagine that you might know when every single one of these parties was? These leaks are about damaging Gove as much as they are about damaging Johnson
  6. Well yes but you aren't getting all of it there Ah I see, you don't get everything on a phone. I rarely post from a phone tbh EDIT: Eureka! turn your phone to landscap orientation and it shall appear!
  7. You don't look up at the toolbar, or you don't see it?
  8. If it annoys the anally retentive list makers it can't all bad PS if you look up when creating a post and see a little icon with numbers and lines.... it creates an indented numbered for you (or just bullets if you prefer), alphabetical lists are so limiting its even easier than what you are going and looks neater too Leave the shortcuts alone and learn to be a smart poster Look see what I did? And again Aaaaaand again
  9. Work have sent me to a war zone for the day without any danger money
  10. Right now they are actually considering investigating. Considering, investigating. It’s a rather strange choice of words. It’s like they've gone shopping and can’t decide on which loaf of bread to buy, or they are sat on the sofa, a wee bit stoned and are thinking about standing up.
  11. I think most of these people that own vinyl and don't open them are collectors, it won't be people buying say Rumours or Fleetwood Mac's Greatest Hits, the one's that will go unopened are the supposedly rare limited editions (which often aren't that rare or limited). There will be people who have bought Kid A Mnesia and not opened it, in the hope that it rises in value (it won't - much, there's loads of them) - vinyl speculators if you like. They might realise in about ten years time when they want to realise their "assets" that they aren't worth anything like they imagined they would be.
  12. That's definitely me, I'm really not a fan of watching films I've already seen
  13. It's not quite that, a lot of these sales are to first time younger buyers, they are sales to people who buy records. The kids today have a much wider spectrum of listening than you or I ever did, they aren't just listening to newish material. Sure there are some people rebuying it but that isn't the case for a lot of them.
  14. Yep very much so, I used to hate canned beer because you could taste the can but since craft beer has been a thing recently, I've had plenty and not tasted the can at all
  15. I Bought one, the Radiohead Kid A Mnesia reissue. I have 5 of the others mentioned on one of those is on vinyl, Legend by Bob Marley (which was only bought for DJing purposes)
  16. Someone bought me a bar of that for Xmas. It's still in my intray on my office desk And if that was out before Xmas and on sale in a shop like B&M, my assumption was that it was last years stock You can have this bar if you want it. Cadbury chocolate is shit
  17. Well, @chrisp65reminded me of the Belgian enclave in the Netherlands in a village Baarle in the virus thread and that led me down a rabbit hole of watching Tim The Traveller's videos, starting off with some related odd borders in Europe but his channel is really good for lots of other stuff too. His latest video is even a reason for @BOF to visit France
  18. It was and still is Farrell's festival. It was his idea and it’s still his
  19. Most of the "builders" are also the holders of the freehold (in another different company name obviously, so they aren't), which makes them landlords too, sorry, Management Companies and they go bango even more frequently.
  20. Actually in that rabbit hole right now, I find stuff like this very interesting, I knew about the Netherlands one but now... I'll be lost for hours
  21. There is a video on YouTube that won't embed here of the problems that border through that art gallery caused last year with the different Covid rules and mask wearing. Its a crap video that tells you nothing interesting but its existence shows a problem did exist Thats not the only strange Belgian border issue either, check out the Vennbahn enclaves of Germany, then there's a hotel on the French Swiss Border...
  22. Not even convinced its "leadership contest", it's more alarming dip in the polls territory. I hope all the people affected remember that when their original developers suddenly declare themeselves bankrupt and re-emerge as a completely new entity the next day, thus putting the problem right back where it is now. It's pretty much standard industry practice.
  23. You are not alone, there is at least one other female that (semi) regularly posts in Off Topic
