Another charidee shop purchase, bught because it had Different Drum on it and I'd been doing some reading / watching about Laurel Canyon. No idea if its a Canadian pressing or a New Zealand one (same serial numbers) and nor can I be arsed to dig any deeper
It's a decent copy but not really my thing, well the Country bits aren't anyway
I used to work security at gigs with a biker gang (sorry Motorcycle Club), in the main they were alright, never did me any wrong and also did me a few favours. They weren't exactly the law and order types though
Spellbound is good but if you don't know the Album JuJu from where it spawned, check it out, IMO there are better non-single tracks on the album. Definitely my favourite Siouxsie album
What if the 54 letters are received before the investigation is complete?
Someone will have done the maths, realised they can get the 54 but not the full 180 odd and then they can't do it again for a year
Strangely though, I suspect many of his constituents actually feel the same as him, it's the only time a Tory has won the seat since 1997 and his majority was less than 400
If we had PR with a list system any MP changing sides would have to stand down and the next candidate on the list from the previous election list would assume the seat as people then did vote for a Party and not an individual.
At least I presume that is what would happen.
I think we're way past that point to be honest. The public won't be any less angry when the report is published, the anger is deep lying and will just remanifest itself when it hits the news cycle again
Well yes, quite. I was going to post similar last night but forgot. The ideal scenario (for me) is that he wins the VONC and carries on for a while so its seen that the majority of Tory MPs supported him and it really sends them into a death spiral of public opinion
Anyway, I'm playing Trees Speak - Post Human again. Part of my Xmas haul and maybe the one i've played most since I got it
Someone is selling a brand new sealed copy on Discogs for under £20 including postage. Plenty of other brand new copies available too
I just wish they'd release something new because that album is great. I only just realised that they worked with Pete Kember (Sonic Boom) and Anton Newcombe (Brian Jonestown Masacre et al) in the studio on that album, that's one hell of a pair to have in the studio when you're making an album like that
