  1. This is what I was saying the other day when I looked at the list of current Tory MPs. The party is full of people you’ve never heard of, absolutely chock full of them. Very few of them even have the ambition to be in the cabinet, they are just happy to sit on the odd committee, take the money and get some extra cash from directorships and the like. The party is full of people on the gravy train. An absolute collection of talentless pricks
  2. Tribute albums are generally rubbish. This one isn't and the opener on it by Michael Stipe is absolutely brilliant
  3. Yeah well hannah deserved huges LOLs for that but it does show how Spotify had taken that power away from recording artists that people actually thought the idea was new
  4. That was a good thing not a bad thing, she got spotify to stop the default option on an album to be shuffle. She was absolutely correct to do that You realise rather a large proportion of songs are written from first hand experience, are you suggesting there's something wrong with that? All artists of whatever medium should have the right to present their work as they deem suitable
  5. Andy Ross - former co-owner and label boss of Food Records has died Responsible for discovering / inflicting Blur on the world amongst others including Jesus Jones, Crazyhead. Diesel Park West, The Supernaturals and Dubstar.
  6. in most of the last day I've been searching for the right words to do this monstrosity justice, I don't believe they exist yet Is it called Tarte à la crème de syphilis?
  7. make sure you do, second hand car prices are absolutely through the roof right now, that may be your limiting factor not the amount you'll get for you old car
  8. Galloway is up there with Seumas Milne. Two of the biggest Putin shills operating in the UK today
  9. How extreme do you want to take multiple breaches of regulations? How extreme are the many breaches going to court or have already been dealt with by a court? That has to be the yardstick here, if its not expect someone like the Good Law project to get involved. There's also a who is responsible for the gatherings question given the location of the events, even that isn't clear and a court may have to decide. You can also elect to take any fixed penalty to notice to court
  10. No they aren't, these go beyond the scope of fixed penalty notices. Many others have ended up or will end up in court over breaches and parties And that's also a word of warning, once the police get involved, it isn't up to them to say who is guilty, the evidence then gets passed to the CPS who decide whether to prosecute. And if it goes to court the whole thing gets delayed until the versict
  11. You can blame Labour for that. I keepm saying this but until Labour supports and actively campaigns for PR it will never happen. And for Labour to take that position requires getting the large unions onside.
  12. Police are investigating 8 parties? Surely we're well beyond 8 at this point?
  13. When was Hitler's 4th Reich? Is he like Jesus and why weren't we told? When is Nazi Easter?
  14. There’s no evidence, says the Met’s Assistant Deputy Commissioner for standards
  15. I really don’t think that one’s aimed at Johnson. That one falls firmly on Sunak’s reputation. It is somewhat retaliatory, especially as Lord Askew specifically said he wasn’t criticising the Prime Minister. There are all sorts of games going on here. Someone decides to trash Sunak, pushing the heat in a different direction and… another party is whipped out on demand. Cummings even said today that when the enquiry is over, there’ll still be more parties. In regards to todays party revelation and it playing into Johnson’s hand… it absolutely doesn’t. It just adds to the idea that there was a culture of partying whilst the rest of us did our bit and obeyed the rules. It matters not whether he was aware of it, he’s in charge and that he didn’t stop it dead is down to him alone. His office, his rules and the culture he quite clearly fostered
  16. Ah Nadine certainly going for the Gold arselickers medal As others have pointed out, it is defintely not a work event when you wife and interior designer are in attendance
  17. They are clearly getting charged a corporate rate, whereas if you did it all and claimed it back they'd save a bucketload of cash and your money wouldn't be as impacted as much
