Having a bit of a 12" session. Playing the Dredger EP by The Fall. Jeez, the price of these things... median price is £25, it's a 4 track EP. Ok it's Limited edition numbered but still. Mine not only has the poster intact but it has two posters! (both the same)
I wouldn't read too much into it. The Chinese agenda will be as much to do with internal strife and not showing any form of political demonstration as it will be to do with supporting Russia
Whatever it is you were watching was wrong, totally wrong
Ukraine wants to join NATO, it was years and possibly decades away from being able to do this and even then, there was no guarantee they'd be allowed
The UN has no power of veto over who joins NATO, nor does Russia
Another point here about the suffering of the Russian people, it can't really be said out loud but the sanctions have to hurt them as that is what will motivate a plebiscite and by now the people know why there are sanctions and they know the cause of that. It's not nice but it's what they need to do for themselvesd
Chelsea should be the first top flight football club to be owned by the Government. The government should be the one's selling it and giving the money to Ukraine. Letting Abramovic sell it is not imposing the sanctions
Do you know Abramovic's history? He introduced Putin to Yeltsin, which started him on his path, he funds Putin's election campaigns. Abramovic is not a bystander in this, he is utterly culpable. He's known in the Kremlin as Mr A, he used to live in the Kremlin and it's said he's like a son to Putin
I don't get the point of this, it isn't remotely true and even the gestures depicted do have a point.
Never in my lifetime have I seen so many countries come together and act so swiftly in supplying arms and aid (and highly likely advice and intelligence behind the scenes) to a country as the Ukrainians have recieved
local party workers obviously campaigned, they concentrate on "their" areas
Some people upthread claiming they were "bombarded" with Labour leaflets
If this by-election was actually campaigned in properly, I'd have realised before someone posted in this thread last night that the by-election was yesterday. Not a hint of it on any national news before the day
Even Labour didn't really campaign here.
Foregone conclusion by-elections often look like this. There's absolutely nothing to read into it
