  1. I'd suggest that depends on how it ends and who replaces him
  2. I do believe that is a machine gun that predates WW 1. The Pulemot Maxima PM M1910 first made in 1909 and last modified in 1945 It also appears to be sat in a trailer made by Ifor Williams and painted green
  3. I believe the port is on the Russian side of the front line but within range of Ukraine missiles
  4. Obviously they are but they had approx 125,000 ground troops before the war, they called up reservists, they have also enlisted volunteer militia and approx 20k Foreign legion by now They also aren't losing troops at anywhere near the rate the Russians are. The NATO KIA estimates are 2-4K vs 7-15K
  5. They've definitely been active, there are numerous videos of them hiding and being captured
  6. Further to the Russia Ship destroyed, it's actually 1 destroyed and two damaged. That is three of seven of the Black Sea Fleets large scale Landing capability Out of Action in one mission
  7. Does anyone still think you can drive to Kyiv in a tank from Belarus in 4 hours?
  8. Before this started they had approx 280,000 ground troops. NATO estimates that 40,000 of those have already been neutralised (KIA, Injured or Captured). Then there's desertions. So without the desertions that's a huge chunk of Russia's front line capability already gone, especially when you take into account the ratio of 3 or 4 to 1 troops required in the supply lines to keep the front line troops supplied There are also reports that high level Belarusian military have been in contact with Ukraine to say if they are ordered across the border, they will surrender (could easily be propaganda I know) Putin is already calling in extra troops from all over Russia, which will leave him exposed and weakened in other areas of conflict (like Georgia for example) I don't see where the massive influx of troops required to "Win" this can possibly come from
  9. I don't see how Poland, who already have a massive influx of refugees could logistically or legally accept POWs from Ukraine
  10. From what I've been reading, POWs are becoming a massive problem for Ukraine, they have more than they can handle
  11. Ouch. That gloss is certainly coming off Sunak. Is it an entirely fair question? no, probably not but the fact they asked it shows the shine is getting rather dull.
  12. Probably the record I own that has increased in value (according to that Discogs) faster than any other It's also not even a first pressing (2014), it's the second (2015) and before that even, it was two separate albums KIng Gizzard and the Lizaed Wizard - Float Along - FIll Your Lungs / Oddments There are three for sale currently in the UK the prices range between £170 - £100 You should see the prices for the original separate albums
  13. Think of him as the Mike Love of American Bolitics
  14. Great Death Techno album cover but who is it by and why no Youtube link?
  15. @sidcowis going to offer to carry the coffin
  16. This might shock but I've honestly never heard of him. I even looked him up and nope, definitely after my Radio 1 days
  17. The best stuff was gone by the 80s, in the early 70s there were some great trains in that yard and they'd really stopped scrapping them as they realised they were more valuable to sell to preservation than the bare metal. I posted on here a few months back about how I'd drag my granddad around there on a day out instead of going to the Fun Fair, climbing up into the cabs of the loco's, it really was a very magical place
  18. And did they factor how many of those people that stop using their cars because of the high prices started using taxis? The journey still often takes place just not with the same person behind the wheel
  19. Johnny Owen was an absolute local hero Everyone knew Johnny from miles around, you'd see him out training, every day, running over mountains, he used to run up and down the Heads of the Valley Road, I even saw him once running along the road from Merthyr to Brecon and when he was finished in Brecon, he bought an ice cream and waited for his trainer to come and give him a lift home. He was like a like a living comic book character out of the VIctor Comic
