  1. Apparently that was the Thirteenth time Russia has used Kherson Airport to store vehicles / aircraft and been attacked successfully by Ukraine. It’s Russian stupidity on an industrial scale
  2. I'm not sure if VT has been following the amount of times Russians have been at Kherson Airport in numbers and had significant ordnance destroyed in missile attacks, well it's a few and enough times to have become a bit of a joke It was noticed on a satellite image from earlier today that again the Russians had built up a significant presence there Tonight the story is... BOOM it happened again
  3. The Moskva is the very warship involved in the Snake Island incident iirc
  4. .-. ..- ... ... .. .- -. / .-- .- .-. ... .... .. .--. --..-- / --. --- / ..-. ..- -.-. -.- / -.-- --- ..- .-. ... . .-.. ..-.
  5. Hahaha, this happened by accident because the album is one of those annoying records that plays at the wrong speed i.e. 45rpm instead of 33 So on a whim I decided to play the album on 33 anyway, as an experiment to see how far I'd play it before it became annoying Sentient Oona, the opening track actually works quite well at the wrong speed. The second track Enrique El Cobrador would be a OK but the vocals really do suffer Anway - Oh Sees - Smote Reverser. If track 3 sounds bad, it's going on at full speed EDIT: Its no play Kylie at 33 and get Rick Astley
  6. Well this story just gets more odd So Bild print a story saying Steinmeier had been given the KB by Zelensky Steinmeier even confirmed this to be the case Zelensky denies ever recieving the request now
  7. Yorkshire, the Vladimir Putin of English counties
  8. Our on hold music is an absolute rarity, people phone us up to ask who it is and where they can buy it. It's one of the IT lads and his band Seas of Neptune. People at their gigs actually ask them who did the original because they know it but just can't place it
  9. I no longer have a mother-in-law but had I known you only had to even suggest you'd be going for a shit and they disappear in a puff of smoke I'd have tried that trick many times Does anyone know if this works on sister-in-laws? Only that mine's arriving on a self invited Easter break on Friday and if I could get rid of her as soon as she walked through the door it would be a great benefit
  10. FTTY. The UK doesn't get to decide this, not for another 2 years
  11. Yeah but putting smooth peanut butter in a chocolate bar that already contains chunks of nuts seems a bit odd
  12. Opinion polling believe it or not Opinion polling in a country where people are absolutely terrified in many cases to say what they actually think
  13. What is the point of smooth peanut butter in a Marathon?
  14. You are more likely to lose your seat with that approach in a marginal because the Tory vote will not be as big in the next election To save your seat, you would be better off being outspoken against the current leadership. Tory MPs are not the sharpest tools in the box though
  15. So how many illegitimate children did he have?
  16. She's already married, she already cheated on him so there is a chance His surname is O'Leary, so clearly she showed some taste in not adopting that name
  17. Not really, they are all culpable for this mess, they will inherit this mess and will not have the time to turn it around. They really do face a generational time out of power. The mess is so monumental a new leader will not make any difference. If it was anyone other than Johnson, they'd be much lower. Right now, any "next leader" will have to be a prize idiot. Yep, it's primed for Truss, so that'll cheer you up
  18. Thanks, didn't realise that and then I went to look for the album and discovered it wasn't logged in the collection for some reason, now it is so thanks for that too
  19. I thought this was brilliant the first time I heard it, I bought it the week it came out. I still think it's brilliant now The ctitics of the time hated it. They were wrong. It's still brilliant today, they've never made an album as good since Everytime I play this, I'm taken back to the album tour and the Birmingham Odeon gig. The Odeon had somewhat cavernous accoutics for live music, it actually suited this perfectly. I can still hear that booming sound of the gig, I can still smell the strange mix of sweat, patchouli oil and leather jackets The band nearly split up making and touring this, they were not in a good place. Despite that, they created another masterpiece (to go with the two previous albums)
  20. Damaged Bug - Bug on Yonkers Workaholic John Dwyer with his more synth based outfit. Think Oh Sees but with synths as well as guitars
  21. This one may have also slipped by people That story is bigger than it appears but tied in with that is this story... A purge of the FSB who have been effectively Putin's private army / police force since he gained power. The head of department was the man Putin humiliated on Live TV just before the start of the war because, he had misgivings about the Special Operation So on the one hand he's had a trusted oligarch who was very publically hawkish about invading Ukraine arrested and on the other he's had the bloke that tried to tell him invading was a shit idea arrested too
  22. Oh and you know all the over 60s that always vote Tory? Well there's lots of them unhappy in their £4.50 a week rise in the pensions Yes Social Media is laughing at them quite a bit
