There was definitely a time when you were allowed to have working lunches in restaurants etc whether this was then, I can't even begin to remember But this wasn't in a restaurant, it was in an MPs office during a by-election, so "everyone meet back here for a debrief with food at the end of the day" Seems perfectly within those regs if it was in that period Also the only people invited were party workers, not an interior designer and a few journalists and the bloke that primps the wifes cat. There's also no hint that ABBA was played

That's silly. You've either broken the rules or you haven't, There's no such thing as being in a position not to be investigated. Someone makes an allegation to the police, it should be investigated regardless of the claims merits, that's what the investigation determines.

You can already do a fast track through security for a few quid at Liverpool Airport. Trouble is, if it was like this everyone would do it and it would be no faster. Also the Airport wqouldn't employ any extra security because thats a function that has no cost benefit for them. They get the money for the landing / takeoff and parking of planes from the airlines, they get the rent from the shops too. In fact bigger queues may lead to increased income as the planes pay more parking fees due to late take-offs
