  1. Did anyone ever get prosecuted for not wearing a mask? I suspect the answer is a resounding NO
  2. Having looked at it, North Shropshire was actually more unlikely as Labour and the Libdems traditionally traded 2nd and 3rd place before the LibDem vote collapse of 2015 whereas in Tiverton the LibDems are the "traditional" opposition party
  3. I'm not saying it's impossible but it's highly improbable, even if the second placed Labour vote completely collapsed. However, this becomes interesting if Parish himself stands as he's threatened to do I do agree that although Labour came second they stand absolutely no chance of winning and the Tory vote collapsing will most likely benefit the LibDems but that Tory Majority is HUGE Even prior to 2015 when the LibDem vote collapsed (for their Tory Collaboration) and they were the real opposition to the Tories in the South West, they still didn't win this one. They came within 2k the first time the seat was contested in 1997 but since then, not even close. By-elections can be strange beasts as we all know but the Tories have never got less than 41% of the vote (1997) and increased their share every election until the last one, where it dropped by 1% but was still over 60% If the LibDems do win it, the Tory Party will collectively shit itself
  4. You forgot the Tory Peer under investigation for a £200mil fraud on the public purse, who also happens to be under investigation separately for sending a racially aggravated malicious communication (text message) to an Indian man after a yachting accident in which one person died.
  5. They were told by the Ukraine government that they had achieved the aims of their mission There is talk of a prisoner exchange, though The Kremlin appears to be talking about putting some on trial but I suspect this is just an attempt to halt the trial of the soldier Ukraine are trying for War Crimes (for shooting civilians in Bucha possibly) Essentially a deal appears to have been done between the two sides probably with Turkey acting as mediator (as it was for the civilian release)
  6. Hmmmm, no I’d say this is exactly what we voted for. In voting yes, this is what the country enabled. It might not be what a majority thought they were voting for but it was what they were voting for regardless. The other side to that is that this is exactly what I was voting to stop, which is why I’d be in the very small percentage.
  7. Like I said it was no problem
  8. Nice view of the queue for the Bryglas Tunnel and if it’s windy you might hit the jackpot and see the queue for the Severn Crossing too
  9. It only that but it’s branded as “Lost Sounds Found.” Is it picky of me to suggest that any lost sounds that are found won’t be sodding shrink wrapped And talking of shrink wrap, I predict more albums will be like the John Barry album and not be wrapped at all
  10. Single sided razor blade. Pack of 100. £5 inc VAT nicked from work… my favourite price
  11. It actually is, there are plenty of videos out there showing the initial misses. The drones the videos are shot from are doing the spotting
  12. Count them. I'll help you, there's a stiched together photo out there that shows every single one of them, there's over 50 its an entire BTG's worth of vehicles
  13. Wish they’d asked me, I'd be in the much smaller percentage if the question was phrased that way. We got exactly what we collectively as a country voted for
  14. This is the silly answer. you think they just got lucky in destroying an entire battalion of vehicles crossing the river the other day? Destroyed every single one of them. There’s even a drone operator that was posted in here and told you exactly how they did it
  15. You realise that £6 wasn’t a realistic fare in the first place. You know the old adage that if it looks too good to be true then it very probably is too good to be true Only lost $5.6 Billion in the first three months of the year, shares down in the $23 range when they sold at $65 when they went to market. Investors are starting to realise it’s a turkey.
  16. They aren't unusual. It’s a very common opinion
  17. Ah that reminds me of the 3 water cannons that Johnson bought as Mayor of London for £300,000 and the then Home Secretary Treeza May refused to authorise the use of Water Cannon by any Force in England and Wales But anyway, there'll be no water cannons... oh SHIT, Priti Patel is the Home Secretary... shhhhh!
  18. FTFY Imagine being a shoplifter and still having your TV presenting job these days....!
  19. Current Instant coffee of choice: Lavazza Prontissimo Inenso. They quite often have it on offer in the supermarkets atm. I keep buying it at under £3
  20. Coffee: Instant I drink with Milk (but not much) Fresh brewed (at home) I drink black Drive-thru is usually a latte but I think I'm going to kick that habit and go black americano soon, drinking way too much milk
  21. I'm expecting Michael Spicer to be in the room next door
  22. Lettuce is a weed not a vegetable (It is a member of the daisy family, fact fans)
  23. Have you ever been to France, if so, were your eyes shut? You'd generally have to travel further to buy "supermarket bread" than to buy it fresh. Generally no-one eats supermarket bread so the supermarkets have very little wrapped and sliced bread in them anyway. Like most countries, sliced bread is for toast and even then it's still a desperation move
  24. I'm not sure you can say that tbh. Johnson is very popular in Ukraine and the countries closer to the war. They only see his world stage grandstanding and appreciate it. They don't see what we see, in the same way that I have no idea what Zelensky is like as a peacetime leader of Ukraine
