  1. No one would know what the f*** he was playing, he's that bad
  2. 1) Oh sweet Jebus this appears to be peak bagpiping weather for the Representative for Wellingborough that can't play them at the back of ours 2) We got an Amazon delivery today, the driver thought it was perfectly acceptable to reverse onto our drive (missing me by about a meter, and the pressure washer I was using and in fact the house) and once he'd handed me the parcel he was about to walk up the close opposite to deliver another, leaving the van on my drive. Think again dickhead. He then made the mistake of still parking the van outside our whilst he walked up the close. Needs to clean his van now that dirt from the pressure washer goes everywhere, oops 3) The Tumble drier is fubarred so we'll need a new one
  3. Burnham cannot be next Labour leader. He’s the Mayor of Greater Manchester, that role includes Police and Crime Commissioner and you cannot hold that office and any other concurrently. You have to be a Labour MP to be the Labour leader. The next election will come before the end of his tenure and should Starmer lose and resign Burnham cannot be in the running unless of course he randomly stands down and gets elected as an MP In the meantime and the party will not thank him for that and the speculation that goes with it
  4. It's Steve Rotherham. Rotherham secured the public testing pilot by co-operating with government over lockdown (see above) steve Rotherham should be as well known as his mate Burnham, why do you think he isn't? I mean he was the lead Labour MP on Hillsborough for many years (with Burnham playing his part too)
  5. not a chip on my shoulder, I just happen to think Andy Burnham isn't as good as people think he is, I'm glad he's Manchester's Mayor and not Liverpool's. I might be out of a job if he'd have been in Liverpool. It was touch and go whether our company survived the pandemic, with Burnham delaying lockdown is lengthened the time Manchester eventually came out, whereas here, we do-operated with the government and secured the public testing pilot and from that moment Manchester was locked down a lot more and that really was down to Burnham's decision to grandstand with the government and play with peoples lives. Sorry, he got that very important decision wrong, very wrong. Peoples lives should always come first
  6. £40 reduced to £20 if paid within 14 days. But here's the thing, that £4 you've just paid, goes towards your next crossing, you'll still need to pay the £4 with the fine Yes, I'm entirely serious
  7. Also without looking, how many Greater Manchester Labour MPs can you name off the top of your head, I managed 4, I'd heard of about 3 more when I looked at the list
  8. Neither were the Quaker Oat company
  9. James Dyson has invented an awful lot of stuff which had already been invented
  10. not a chance. They are a bunch of words removed in the capital of words removed
  11. Yep, today was when he was scheduled to make an appearance. Coma story obviously dies
  12. Its four less they held than when he came to power, Labour even lost the seat he stood down from, whereas in Liverpool city region Labour retained every seat Andy Burnham is not making Manchester synonymous with Labour which is what the claim was, under his tenure they have less seats.
  13. Nonsense, The Eagle Sisters, Margaret Greenwood, Alsion McGovern and previously (if we're talking recent) Frank Field, Louise Ellman, Luciana Berger, Steven Twigg. Even my MP Bunggalow Bill keeps getting the odd role here and there. There are actually quite a few first time MPs in Liverpool itself right now, of the Liverpool seats I think there's only Dan Carden that has been elected before
  14. Oh and so synonymous with making Manchster Labour is Andy Burnham that since he became Manchester Mayor, Labour has 4 less MPs than they did when he was elected, including the very constituency that used to be his
  15. Ah there we go again, Mancheter, Manchester, Manchester. He's talking bollocks as well, Manchester has 9 Tory MPs out of 27 Merseyside has 1 in 14. Which do you think is more synonmous with voting Labour?
  16. She hasn't got a point at all because that already happens but opposition motions are non-binding and the government pays them little attention and as a consequence, neither does the media The opposition often wins its own motions because not many government MPs turn up to vote. Opposition motions are a supreme waste of time, mostly So thats the first two points The third is a pithy phrase that actually means nothing in isolation and as for calling out lies, is she deaf and blind? They've literally been doing that since Johnson won the election. So as much as I like her and applaud all the good she's done, she's wrong
  17. Go into paedo mode and park up by schools and playgrounds
  18. Strange choice of video, Ukraine loading equipment into a one-off plane that the Russians blew to bits on the ground at the start of the war. Surely he could have found a clip of Caesar Howitzers that they've already donated in action. Plenty of those videos exist When it comes to Macron (and Sholz etc) it really is a case of judge them by their actions not their words. I know he's been to Kyiv today and hopefully had a damascine moment but the proof as they say is in the pudding
  19. Well he does but I rather think that he's referring to a 2019 ballot box and the rest of us are referring to one in the future
  20. Originated in Ukraine supposedly from Intel leak but I’m sceptical too
  21. He isn't spreading any misinformation. The front line in Severodonetsk has ebbed and flowed over the last couple of weeks. There was a point where Russia claimed to have control over the entire city but Ukraine took half of it back due to some subterfuge which has yet to be revealed. The front line on the western Front hasn't moved in weeks. If you search back three weeks in this topic you will see people saying much the same as you, yet here we are, with the front line in almost the same place as it was then. The only places where the front line has moved are around Kherson and Kharkiv and that is due to Ukraine gains, yesterday you were talking about Russia taking Odessa, except on that Southern front they have been in retreat for weeks. The Ukraine forces are now less than 10km from Kherson city centre. You just don't appear to be well informed on where the front line is and it's movement.
