Yep, I'm not seeing the exit poll being right yet. Next one is a big one. Basildon and Billericay. Most have it as a two way between Tory and Labour with Labour the outsiders but Reform really weren’t that far behind, it really is a potential three way. Edit: caveat the are local issues with Richard Holden being parachuted in with local Tory members

One of those seats that the Exit Poll has Reform winning is Hartlepool. That Sunderland result doesn’t really point to the exit poll being right in the Hartlepool seat.

Actually 25% is around where the polls had Reform for Houghton and Sunderland South, so 29% isn’t that much to worry about, it also seems to have come from e pelted Tory votes not Labour, Labour were around 48-50% of the vote

It’s really impossible to say. I did think in the last couple of days there was a danger of Labour losing headway to reform, it just started to show in the polls. Wait until Billericay but Sunderland just got way over where they should have been in Sunderland

The exit poll was absolutely wrong on that one, solid Labour win every which way you looked at it.

My prediction was that they were dead, this is still an entire election cycle ahead of where I said the LibDems would be the opposition. Theres nothing changed that alters my view yet. We have to see who gets elected for the Tory Party and how the inevitable civil war pans out. Things have changed slightly in that Reform are in the mix (possibly) but the demographics haven’t. the Tories support is dying out. I don’t see Reform and Tory Party merging, I see them fighting each other and I see big fights inside the Tory Party If the exit poll is correct we’re still ahead of where I thought we’d be in the death cycle

Sunderland will be second not first this year. Something to do with boundary changes but, the first two out of traps will be interesting but for the Reform percentage not other swings.

I’m getting impression from that social mejah that polling is busy in heavily contested areas, I'm also getting the impression that in places like Liverpool the turnout is going to be spectacularly low. The seats are that safe I can still count on 1 finger the amount of posters I’ve seen for a main party and even that one was on a Union building and it wasn’t current. If a Liverpool seat goes west for Labour, really I won’t be that shocked. It’s beyond complacency

Anyway t'other week, I'm in t'pub pre-gig with @blandy and were chatting with some of my mates inc the Probe crew about House of All. I asked Bob to get me a copy of the second album that I missed. Call in today for Pepe Deluxe as it happens forgetting about HoA. Really pleased he remembered because I didn’t but not only did he get me the album, he got me this… I mean autographs aren’t really my thing but that is four autographs of ex-Fall members so it was a nice touch by Bob to get it me and I suspect it’s his way of saying thanks for taken him to the HoA gig at short notice, the night he discovered his partner's cancer was terminal last year Anyway, the albums on now before I go to get some Kip for a few hours
