  1. Just been on to Virgin to cancel (yeah right, just playing the game). Managed to up my broadband speed, lose a couple of things (Kids TV and International calling) and save £36 a month
  2. And just as dumb, age approval is required for NA Beers because they are less than 0.5% alcohol instead of zero alcohol. I even managed to buy some ice lollies the other day that were a whole 1.5% alcohol and still had to wait for age verification
  3. Having just come out of the bog iin the garage, they have those electronic sensor taps and the same for the shitter flush. This should be standard these days
  4. Current form under Johnson suggests that they'll tell Labour how ludicrous an idea it is and then run with it three weeks later.
  5. North Korea were supposedly sending 10,000 soldiers to help out over a month ago... No sign of them yet, very few Syrians either and literally no Belarusian troops (unless you count the one's fighting FOR Ukraine) Russia also said that Iran had already sent 1000 drones to help Russia and they were already in theatre... no-one has seen them either The chances of any sentence starting with Russia says actually containing any truth is rather remote
  6. That is good news for Labour not bad Labour can't change what the government do. Labour can only say what they'd do differently and whilst Sunak and Truss rip each other and their party apart, continuing in their own way to stick two fingers up to the working population of the country then eventually actually doing some of Labour's policies (If they don't they'll be utterly stuffed), it can only be good for Labour
  7. No-one is disputing that it's useful in certain settings
  8. Strange that if it isn't a solution for taxis that they should dedicate a whole section of their website to just that That claim is utter nonsense and shows a complete lack of understanding of the issues in the industry as is this whopper... Efficiency savings do not come from accurate destinations. Efficiency savings are made with complex dispatch algos and accurate route planning, which 3m by 3m square a car ends up at makes no difference to efficiency at all, there's actually an argument that it does the opposite. It's also a great idea in principal but it fails to understand the human interaction, it also fails to understand what is and isn't accessible to a motor vehicle. That reduces efficiency (massively)
  9. It's exactly what it's for, hence the number of Taxi platforms like iCabbi integrating it into their systems It's a dreadful taxi solution imo
  10. Wordle 422 X/6* Well that hasn't happened for a long time. Failed
  11. Me too but having watched both games I'm still happy with my choice moving forward.
  12. He really should get a rocket from his boss
  13. Dumped Cash for Mee which gives me some extra in the bank to help the following week or I might take 4 pointer to replace Bailey Really glad I did the Haaland/Kane swap as I don’t think I’ve heard Kane's name in the match today so far. Nice stupid pointless yellow card for James too
  14. Not had it.(that I’m aware of). Neither has the missus
  15. Is that a legal requirement that involves regular searches by council officials and police officers permited by statutory instruments? Or is it just a legal requirement to just deliver something as part of a contract. Substantially different hurdles
  16. Haha three little words is hilariously stupid. It’s an idea that doesn’t really take into account peoples accents and language levels, not only that it doesn’t link the square to an actual address. That there is a legal problem with what constitutes a pick-up location with regards to statutory requirements to record bookings. It's also impossible to decide which is and isn’t a viable location for pickup in a built up area. It’s a long way off being actually useful. If it could translate the three words to an actual address I could make 30 staff redundant tomorrow and switch everything to voice recognition.
  17. Not every country has cars parked on residential roads
  18. Clearly hasn't tried to look for house numbers at night
  19. I had a huge period of time between second word and third. I really didn't want to play that and was trying to think of alternatives but really couldn't come up with any, I was convinced I'd be wasting a go with little gain at that stage.
