  1. Thank-F*** for streaming services
  2. If we could stretch that to a few more weeks, there could be positives
  3. She usually ruined it anyway with her dreadful conversational skillz
  4. Speak for yourself. Some of us live in the Republic of Merseyside
  5. Given what just happened in the HoC I think your either correct or about to be correct
  6. Ah yes, the return of Fracking, that'll be popular.... not The middle class Tories don't like fracking, which is why it was stopped in the first place. Fracking is up there with Wind Farms for the shit they don't like
  7. It's Labour's job to point out that a windfall tax would have done it in one fell swoop with no harm (relatively to the public purse) Starmer and other Labour politicians have been doing this for a number of weeks now. They need to do it harder
  8. If she saddles the country with £100 Billion debt when she could use a windfall tax to do it in one hit, I think there'll be a backlash not a bounce
  9. Trump probably thought they were there because it's not like he read them anyway
  10. Remember this when it comes to the election after the next one There are a number of indicators of what they are up to. I think Wes Streeting touched on it last week by saying that this Government has not made any plans to increase the number of doctors. The reason they are doing it is possibly because they know they will lose the next election and are attempting to make it as hard as possible for Labour to be successful when they win the next election. Yes, they are f***ing the country to assist the Tory Party to get back in in as short a time as possible Labour needs to use that line now and as often as possible to get the message across. Oh and also remember who Truss worked for when she left Uni. Her first four years in professional employment were at Shell. She joined Shell at just about the same time as she left the LibDems to become a Tory.
  11. I think Trossards price is still predicted to rise tonight But I'm definitely a Brighton bailer with my wildcard. One game postponed and the mangaer buggering off to Chelsea. And if Potter does go to Chelsea, that's Chelsea in the uncertainty zone too because Potter is bound to chop and change for a few weeks, players and positions, he's known to tinker with where players play. What I'm pondering right now is whether to build around Haaland / Kane or Haarland / KDB. I'm trying to do it so I have flexibility to play 3-4-3 / 4-3-3 / 3-5-2 depending on fixtures but that means looking for bargains at the back which may have to mean double Man Utd in defence. It may mean having to just go with Haaland and no other premium player Decisions decisions
  12. 77 years of Postwar history says this is nonsense. I wish it wasn't Just go to the Wiki List of current UK parties registered with the electoral commision. There are currently 408 registered political parties in the UK You think another party is going to make a difference?
  13. Just wait until she starts to own some chickens
  14. Not a chance of that IMO. Geography dictates that it's almost impossible without opening a third very active front and I doubt Ukraine have the manpower for that. Melitopol is protected by the very large and wide dammed Dnipro River Before they get to Melitopol they'd have to also presumably skirt around Zaporizhzhia where the Nuclear Power Plant is It's more important right now for Ukraine to take Kherson and all north of the Dnipro. Then they'll have the very difficult task of crossing the river, especially as they've blown the bridges out. Kherson Oblast is also a priority so they can control the canal from the reservoir, the canal that supplies fresh water to Crimea. The only fresh water Crimea gets. One of the first things Russia did on invasion was to undam the canal. For Ukraine its vital to prevent that water getting to Crimea. Similarly once they can control south of the river near Kherson, they control one of the two entrances to Crimea. Once they can control that entrance they'll destroy the exit bridge to Russia, effectively trapping Crimea as an island unconnected to Russia. All of that is far more important right now than Melitopol.
  15. The pound falls to it's lowest level against the dollar since 1985. That's a good start
  16. Here's another recent favourite of mine. Not your usual soundtracker, californian psyche rocker Ty Segall recently did the score for the Netflix movie Whirlybird. It contains this tune. I just love the drums in this
  17. Well yes but when you steal something from one of my mates it somehow seems more personal The Passage - Drugface Absolutely steals the opening for this... Barracuda - Drug Fits The Face That is literally the tune that lauched Moby's career (Richard M Hall aka Barracuda aka Moby) And given the career he had after that to not acknowledge it and in fact deny it, makes it somewhat galling

    Energy Bills

I think there's scope for the UK to apply further windfall taxes on the energy extraction companies in conjunction with the above. A bit of both, that way it moves us forward with using less energy overall as you say and does bring some of the ludicrous profits back to the people so it doesn't seem like we're paying for everything. There is plenty of scope in that for the extractors to still make very large profits
