  1. Whatever you do, opt out of any emails and alerts
  2. As long as we read a match programme before February 1982
  3. tbh, I got the impression you weren't listening. But forget about traffic. Operation London Bridge / Unicorn was to go into effect when the Monarch died, not before. Imagine if she was hanging on a few days and the BBC re-arranged their schedules like they did. The plan was clearly already going on well before 15.10, just watching the BBC would have told you that. (as well as the HoC events) The time of death on the Queens death certificate isn't really proof of anything much tbh because it will obviously have to fit in with the narrative we were told. And the time she died isn't really that important either
  4. I think the Electoral Calculus modelling probably f***s up somewhere way before a 33% Labour lead
  5. Why repeat what was said then, you didn't believe it then and you won't believe it now. No one is allowed to die without permission!
  6. Yes but analysis of the performance of their General Election polling says the percieved bias isn't true Mark Pack (The LibDem President and author of books about polling)
  7. Treat them as entertainment. Wind them up and abuse them. It's an art form The more creative and long winded the better.
  8. Dunno how he's going to do that when his entire military is only 60K with less than 6K able to be deployed in forward roles.
  9. I thought current advice is that you can have them together but if having them separately they should be two weeks apart? I'm not sure what the logic of that decision was.
  10. Russia has been calling up conscripts throughout this. Conscripts did have the option to opt out of going to Ukraine by law and many did but a lot of them were also lied to and bullied into signing regular soldier contracts. Conscription will have no bearing on this whatsoever.
  11. It's a good point but the reports I've read and on the radio suggest that has to be the case but they could be totally wrong and the honest answer is, who knows. Truss and Kwarteng probably don't know either.
  12. Talk of Tory Party VONCs is irrelevant even if they change the rules, the process still takes too long for this to be fixed. What needs to happen is enough Tory MPs to defy the whip and vote the new not-a-budget measures down. Unfortunately, they'll kill their political careers in doing so. Not more than a handful at most have the guts to do that and any that did have probably already made their minds up to retire at the end of the current term
  13. Obviously. She's an ERG puppet I said this a while ago but when you have a spare minute, have a look at the current list of Tory MPs. Look at the one's you've never heard of (which will be an awful lot) and then look how long they've actually been in parliament. A considerable number will have a) been there a very long time and b) never held a position of even minor importance. Lots of Tory MPs are just incapable of anything other than collecting a paycheck, claiming expenses and walking through the right door at the right time.
  14. Ukraine's borders are internationally recognised. The referendum is only a tool for Putin's internal audience
  15. You could only borrow 3 times your salary back then. It was tough but all possible. Now?
  16. No, he was just less wrong comparing a 100% word removed to an 80% word removed It's like saying I prefer Unsworth over Lescott
  17. You've missed out a crucial bit of lifestyle info there. You can't judge people correctly without it...
