  1. I first saw them when Vince Clarke was still in the band. I then saw them at the Birmingham Odeon after he left. I got bored of them for a couple of decades after that, then started liking their later darker material but I'm not sure I could be bothered to fork out for a Stadium gig by anyone these days
  2. Looking at the current state of the polling, there may be plenty of MPs that may figure that the only way to get re-elected is in a completely different party
  3. Most of those faced a very binary choice by then In the first round she only had the support of 14% of the MPs. She only really squeezed into second place in the final round when Badenoch dropped out She doesn't really have that much support inside the parliamentary party
  4. The point is that it doesn't matter if the 1922 rules can be changed, the public won't care, you can't keep playing the same trick over and over again. Even if they do change the rules and pot her, it will not make much of a dent in the polls, in fact it may harm them further. It was nasty enough last time, another leadership election would just seal the deal. The only real way out of this is for Labour to propose a VONC and enough Tory rebels support it or even less likely the party actually splits, with the rebels attempting to start with a clean slate (actually now I think about it, this scenario is the most likely)
  5. Oh there's a video out there of one Russian soldier kindly administering oral relief to a fellow soldier when a drone drops a bomb on them
  6. I suspect they were indeed Shroedinger's Uniforms
  7. So 1.5 million Russian military uniforms have "gone missing."
  8. If you want to spot contradictions, you'll be doing well to find more anywhere. There's a special amount of foolishness being talked here. Especially funny is the idea that Russia was occupied by the West in the 1990s and it just gets wilder from there. Apparently others are copying this line The whole of Ukraine is with them but beating them on the battlefield... It really is an absolute masterclass in talking bollocks
  9. 2 working in tandem. No reports pf them being hit though. They soon just disappeared
  10. You aren't a mug at all. They'd do an audit at some point then end up paying you £500 less when you are least expecting it.
  11. It's only 2 days since he asked Putin to use nukes on Ukraine but he's going to send his sons there.
  12. Do you have any evidence for this? No-one else has but you keep saying it. Their newest weapons do not work as they have claimed. Take the T-14 Armata as an example. Right now they are supposed to have had a "test batch" delivered of 100 taqnks. They were meant to be delivered by 2020 with the full amount of the initial order to be delivered by 2025. By 2021 only 16 Armarta platform vehicles had been delivered and that includes the T-15 (an IFV based on the Armata platform). In softening the blow of the lack of their new wonder weapons, the Russian MOD claimed there was no rush because the T-90 and T-72 was more than a match for its NATO counterparts. Well the evidence there is plain to see, It isn't. This is all before the war and sanctions. They couldn't build them before that, they certainly can't now. The SU-34 is rarely seen over Ukraine and when it is, they also get shot down. Since the start of the war they've lost at least 14 of them, thats over 10% of the total they have and that is their most modern active combat aircraft. The other two newer aircradt really are in test only. They have 5 SU-57 and 6 MIG-35. So worried about the SU-57's capability are the Russians it's been used sparingly and only ever fires at targets from inside Russian Airspace, they won't risk it over Ukrainian skies. There really are no new weapons he's keeping up his sleeve
  13. There really doesn't seem like much in the way of cover for the retreating Russian troops between Borova and Svatove in the Luhansk Oblast. Looks like pretty open country. Svatove is significant because firstly it's in Luhansk and secondly because the Russians captured it very early on in the first two weeks of the war When Ukraine take it, it will be interesting to see the reaction the troops get
  14. Won’t stop them trying it again. It’s again more ideologically driven than anything. They’ll move the thresholds north next and that will potentially cost the exchequer more in the long run.
  15. No, he meant what he said. He will never admit it was a terrible idea. Again, it’s was ideological. They will revisit it at some point and that is exactly what he is signalling to his chums
  16. No it doesn’t, public spending cuts are ideological not necessary
  17. I genuinely liked that, it’s on the first comp I posted yesterday and when listening to it for the first time I had to look up at the track list when this one came on. Yoko was definitely the talented one in that family.
