  1. I think the only place we disagree is Cleverly / Tugendhat. I see Tugendhat ahead at this stage. I also think there's a chance Cleverly might sit it our eventually as the first owner of the job is certainly on a poisoned chalice and Cleverly more so than Tugendhat
  2. Yes Cleverly could overtake Tugendhat in the left right split. Badenoch will still win with the members though
  3. Well yes, I think most observers thought the same which makes it all the funnier tbh. Braverman does appear to be way down the list of people to take over right now. If I was to speculate at this time, the final two are likely to be Badenoch and Tugendhat, with Badenoch being the winner in the membership vote but it seems we have a long time between now and then for the rats in the sack to take further lumps out of each other All jolly good sport
  4. Ah bit of a Tom Verlaine coincidence. The Room - In Evil Hour. A masterpiece from the 80s yet to be discovered by many Always a bit odd playing your mates records but they weren’t mates when they made this but I was most definitely a fan I am in eager anticipation of the next album, which is in the can and is a bit of a concept album.
  5. Anyway… when is a soundtrack not actually a soundtrack but a Best of compiled by Stewart Lee to coincide with the film that he directed about The Nightingales. It's top notch anyway
  6. Well yes quite frankly, they were just dull. Not an interesting or different note to be heard, no individuality, not a hint of an influence even, nothing. There’s literally nothing worse.
  7. So the only details that were given were the name and address? If so, it’s definitely a process issue that needs correcting, so right of correction applies. I doubt they’d know how many times it had happened though and it’s most likely once. Suspect it'll be a post code look up issue in the database Definitely worth informing them though
  8. Never really got their appeal tbh straight up boring shouty rock band. Probably had to watch them at least 5 times live, never once did I think any different. Birth, School, Work, Death… they missed out sleep.
  9. Hope the viaduct is ok
  10. I was kinda just trying to point out how stupid this stuff can be. Some things are technically breaches (like a misdelivered letter) that really aren’t worth bothering with. Now if they've sent a letter containing financial details etc and addressed it incorrectly to someone completely different, which has then been opened at no fault of the third party. That really does need addressing as there is an error in process which needs to be remedied. It could also be that this error affects many more people.
  11. It probably had fallen off the end of the cue to be fair
  12. Do you do that if the postman delivers a letter to the wrong house?
  13. It’s good advice but legally (and I think this is OTT) any member of staff should be able to deal with the SAR even if it is made verbally and dealing with it isn’t telling them to email x@company.com it’s taking the persons details and request and then contacting the relevant person. Yes it’s ludicrous. You're better finding the relevant email address and doing it yourself as you suggest
  14. When you say they’ve shared her personal details with someone, what details and how did this occur? So if they delivered a parcel to the wrong address and her details (name address) were on the package but were delivered to the wrong address, it’s a human error by one person. They'll speak to that person. That’s it. If it’s a larger error of process, they'll have to change the process to remedy the problem, that’s good. Why would your mother suspect they’ve given her details to others? Are there other similar instances?
  15. When did she contact them and who did she contact? What is your ultimate aim with carrying out these actions? As data breaches go its particularly minor
  16. Simian Mobile Disco - Murmurations Ignore who it is, this is a beautiful double album downtempo and features the Deep Throat Choir I Just looked at this on Discogs, if anyone is interested there are loads of really good copies for about £6 (£10 inc postage)
  17. There’s a classic “Green space” from a few years ago in Liverpool, there’s an area called Sefton Park Meadows, it’s across the road from the actual Sefton Park. There was an application from the council to sell the land for houses to Redrow, there was a massive campaign against it, celebrities from all over the place, some of whom had never set foot in Liverpool, campaigned against it and it got “saved”. Now if the application had been campaigned against because of its corrupt nature (chippy tits and Mr Redrow were big mates) fine fairy nuff but that wasn’t the case, it was all about saving the green space. The bit of land in question is never used, no-one exercises there, walks their dog more than across it, has a picnic there etc Why? Because there’s a world famous f***ing huge park across the road. The rest of the Park is surrounded by houses… filling in that space would just have been filling a gap not destroying green space. Now a few years later, it’s still an empty space. Ok it’s green but there’s a huges massive Green space across the road. Sometimes the NIMBYs can’t see the wood for the trees
  18. I did have a thought about them running paper candidates (which is perfectly legal), I wouldn't put it past some or all these candidates to have forged the 10 signatories required for their nomination papers. One example... some candidate in Dorset was tracked down by someone or other I forget and they claimed they've only ever been to Dorset once in their life and it wasn't during the election... which raises the obvious question of how they collected the ten signatures (from registered electors in the constituency) required to complete the nomination process That isn't the only paper candidate I've seen say they haven't ever been to the constituency... But as usual the Polititwits don't appear to realise what the problem really could be, they'll saying "This must be illegal" (to stand) - it isn't
  19. It’s worse than that, some of them are…French
  20. Also seems to be pre the invention of the goal net (1889) The goal net was invented by John Alexander Brodie, who history keeps remembering as the bloke that built the Mersey Tunnel. John Brodie was more proud of inventing the goal net I know this because a blue plaque appeared on a house I used to live in
  21. @Mandy Lifeboatsmight have an idea about what stat was compiled at the polling stations
