    I’ve got no objection to them offering PayPal as a method, it’s the PayPal only bit I object to. Bandcamp is one of the few sites that has my card details stores. Click, buy, done. Why make it more difficult Its also bloody stupid given the processing charges PayPal levy. There are much cheaper payment solutions out there like Lopay. I switched from PayPal to them and cut my processing fees by over two thirds

    It's all interlinked really, they all feed into each other. You could rephrase rebuilding a Russian Empire as regaining Russia's sphere of influence and they both become the same thing. One is a symptom, the other is the endgame if you like and even the ego / legacy thing is just the personal aspect to Putin's decision making. It'll be impossible to unconnect them even in 50 years time.

I do, however, think the whole thread has some merit but I think its only a small part of the reasoning behind the Invasion, there are other more major factors
