  1. Yes, but definitely not Ronnie Corbett Style
  2. Maybe if they sat down it would be more appealing?
  3. I can just imagine the mental anguish of the left leaning Liverpool fans
  4. This is all over the internet, with much scepticism I might add. If it is true that is absolutely audacious whilst making no sense whatsoever tactically
  5. No thanks, we've already had caring rich American plaything in the owners manual. Got bored, stockmarket crashed got divorced sold us to a complete knobhead
  6. Decent haul considering. I’m on 58 pts inc 11 bonus points with Rashford still to play. Happy with that considering Captain Haaland blanked and Zaha had a 90 minutes 0 because of the missed pen. Everyone else bar Cancello got some sort of return. Im really hoping Manure play Antony tomorrow, he’s a doubt but one of my prime targets above me in our works league has 13 points sitting on the bench with Rodrigo if Antony doesn’t play and right now I’ve overtaken him
  7. We might find out sooner or later in Ben Wallace is the stand up guy and man of his word people think he is. (I doubt he is personally) Sunak looking to go full on Corbyn and cut defence spending That'll be a surreal debate to be had in parliament, especially if Wallace resigns as he said he would. Now really isn't the time to be cutting defence spending Has the Prime Minister decided to stand at the next election in Islington North?
  8. Picked him today ahead of Pope. 2nd time I’ve played him in 3 or 4 weeks I think
  9. Is this death week 2022? So many deaths
  10. Ah bollocks. Very important player on early On-U Sound records, Creation Rebel, African Headcharge, Singers and Players, Barmy Army, Gary Clail, Dub Syndicate, he was on all of them. Also much later, he went on to work with Mark Stewart too. An absolutely huge On-U player Founder member of the Clash and The Flowers of Romance (with Sid Vicious), taught The Slits how to play guitar and of course the good early Public Image Ltd where he and Wobble crafted the absolutely genius Metal Box (which I'm now getting off the shelves to play in his honour) Oh did I mention he used to bunk off school aged 15 to roadie for Yes Very sad one this for me.
  11. Oh and as I was talking about HIMARS and its range, here's a map indicating the range it now covers. No artillery in that area will be safe and in theory if the Russians decide to keep it outside HIMARS range, Kherson shouldn't get the artillery bombarments we've seen elsewhere. It also frees up some HIMARS units to now assist at the other end of the Dnipro
  12. Also in relation to leaving in a hurry and leaving stuff behind, they left this. Admittedly it was originally a Ukrainian Mi-8 that was captured but Ukraine have it back now (The camoflage scheme is Ukrainian but they painted over the Ukrainian roundel with a Z)
  13. I suspect they'll start by HIMARsing the front line defences on the left bank first and just keep grinding those defensive lines from the relative safety of the right bank. Ukraine now have the high ground advantage over the left bank too, so snipers in high buildings may also cause a bit of havoc with their Snipex Alligators, it's an absolute beast, it has a range of 4 miles and uses 14.5mm machine gun rounds. You'd have to suspect that although they've left Kherson the new front lines on the left bank will be hell, given the terrain and height differential plus, everyone knows where those lines are and they don't appear to have much cover. Ukraine can grind there for quite some time in relative safety compared to when they've been going through recently. It's Ukraine that will have the cover and all the advantages that brings Just the attrition in that situation must eventually weaken other lines further as those troops will need to be replaced. The hastily made portable pill boxes I saw photos of my provide cover from machine guns and rifles but given the accuracy of Ukraine's artillery and the devastation the HIMARS can cause, you really wouldn't want to be the soldiers tasked with sitting in them, they aren't exactly disguised nor do they look that substantial. It will also take Russia a fair while to get any artillery in place to fire back and again, that in itself will weaken other lines further plus it will all be in HIMARS range if they attempt to shell Kherson I think Ukraine will just hold that line for now and grind away, then concentrate their efforts at the other end of the Dnipro.
  14. Another one that is highly unlikely to even be an MP at the next election His seat has been modified in the proposed boundary changes, already on a slim majority and the changes are thought to favour opposition parties. It's high on the list of LibDem potential captures and given the current polling, it being remain stronghold and him being a staunch leaver and generally an imbecilic word removed. My prediction is that we'll be rid of of this prat before too long
  15. You think you'Ve got problems... Won't somebody think of Dave?
  16. The boss is pleased with the implementation of a new phone system. He's buying our lunch (and a weeks pay bonus spread over two weeks) Just waiting for the belly buster breakfast to be delivered
