  1. don't start me on the amount of utensils / pans / trays it takes to cook a simple meal in our house I once broached the subject of why didn't you just rinse that pan out and reuse it. I won't be doing that again
  2. Some builders may have been remain. As an example. It works for small subsets of the population Some people could also be lying Some people could also be monumentally stupid, didn't understand the first time and still don't understand but think they do SOme people have a fundamental belief that to rejoin would be undemocratic given the referendum result Just some reasons, there will be others
  3. I like a lot of Jane Weaver's output but her recent Pop stuff leaves me a bit cold, so I was delighted to see she'd released a second Fenella colaboration. Back to her otherworldliness. Lovely Fenella - The Metallic Index
  4. I have access to all our customer service emails Our country is full of nutters
  5. Yep, I know. It's like a Russian version of Brass Eye but they actually believe it
  6. What on earth is this option, why give people options that can't exist. A closer trade relationship with the EU is being IN the single market In fact most of those poll options are headscratchers, especially the last two, which pretty much amount to the same thing A new kind of relationship.... utter fantasy with no actual specifics That poll is awful, the first two options are possible, the others are beyond stupid
  7. There are a lot of Russians there... and awful lot of which have run there so they don't get conscripted. The Khazakstan president decreed that government agencies were to help Russians fleeing their country as it was a humanitarian crisis What are they going to invade Khazakstan with? Space Hoppers, wheelbarrows and water pistols? A Lada with bald tyres for the general Those Russian talking heads on TV are like Alex Jones was for Trump.
  8. Its the ones they weren't elected to deliver that are usually the issue. The Salisbury Convention means they don't block manifesto commitments
  9. Aren't you in the team you daft sod, if you don't know why ask us?
  10. There was no way I wan't buying this when I saw it Panda Bear & Sonic Boom - Reset It sounds just like... Panda Bear collaborating with Sonic Boom Fans of the Beach Boys might like this
  11. An awful lot of them, whole battalions go missing when they get the opportunity, they don't surrender to Ukraine, they just run away. Thousands are known to have buggered off The officers report them as dead because the last thing the officers want is an investigation If they conscript another 700k, they'll be arming them with sticks and stones given the equipment the last lot were given
  12. An awful lot of the younger males, that can afford to have buggered off to places like Georgia, rents in Georgia are becoming a big problem due to the Russians avoiding the war there
  13. Right so it's another On-U Sound album BUT, it's not reggae, it's not dub, it's not industrial, this is firmly in the singer / songwriter stripped back production camp Long time On-U collaborator Jeb Loy Nichols' second solo album - The United States of the Broken Hearted Jeb has a lovely soft voice Keyboards on this are played by Martin Duffy (Felt / Primal Scream) Backing vocals by Ghetto Priest. Others from Zion Train, Celloman also feature and percussion by the legendary Jamaican reggae drummer Horseman. Lots of reggae musicians on a completely non-reggae album Apparently I'm one of those people that post music that only 5% of the population have heard of, well the other 95% of you should give this tremendous album a go. Only bought today but this will be in my end of year list
  14. Is there something footbally going on?
  15. It has to be said also though that there is no guarantee that an independent Scotland would be able to join the EU. Spain absolutely guaranteed to veto their membership They'd have more chance of rejoining the EU as part of the Union when/if the UK decides to rejoin. Spain far less likely to veto a combined UK rejoining
  16. She's right though isn't she, it really should be called the nearside lane
  17. Erdogan may finally be off Putin's Xmas card list Turkey supplied these Dzhankoi is just at the limit of that range in Crimea The whole of the supply lines to Crimea and the Left bank of the Dnipro are now in range and all the Ukrainian ports in the Sea of Azov
  18. Never happens with milk from the expensive supermarkets, you get what you pay for

All you bloody Londoners do is sit around in Cafes and Pubs an ave murda with your trouble and strife (Sorry, the missus was watching that dreadful soap again)
  20. The date line shouldn't run through the islands but it does, the time zones are really messed up by politics around the northern Pacific Rim. I think they should both be be in GMT -11 but the Russian Island is in GMT +12 and the Alaskan Islan is in GMT -9
  21. Moonbuilding Vol 2 - Levitation (Portable Edition) Castles in Space (and other stuff Colin likes) Sampler - Levitation is a mini festival he curated in Whitby last weekend.
