  1. AKA the lost to smack decade (for both of them)
  2. I wonder if she's getting cremated?
  3. I really hope so My closest rival in our work league, dropped Trippier and captained Kane over Haaland. So a Haaland haul and Cancelo minutes would suit me just fine as otherwise he'll get the Trippier points be default
  4. Virgin's excellent Ambient compilation series from the early 90s - Volume 1 I find myself buying more albums by artists featured on this album and others in the series now than I ever did back then. I was just content with the compilations back then
  5. Nobody said it was. All that was said was that Russia's problem with population growth was worse and getting much bigger
  6. Reece James out for at least 3 to 4 weeks. That’s a template buster
  7. What makes people do these mad things I don't get why anyone would bench the highest scoring and ranking defender in the league when they were playing a toothless (no Maddison) Leicester. There is only one player in the whole league with more Bonus points than Trippier (20), he's 30 points ahead of any other defender in the league You aren't the only one to do it, there's a bloke in my work league that did it too I can see the logic if they were away at Arsenal or City but Leicester?
  8. Too many people with no taste having a similar idea at the same time
  9. ASDA have ANPR parking cameras, expect a fine in the post
  10. Google NCP Stanmore, loads everytime for me
  11. Top 5 Soundtracks of the year (real or imagined) 1 Lionel Liminana / David Menke The Ballad of Linda L. / The Devil Inside Me (Two French films, released this year, Liminana and Menke collaborated on both, released as a double) 2 Ty Segall Whirlybird (US documentary about the pioneers of live reporting using a helicopter) 3 Nick Cave and Warren Ellis La Panthere Des Neiges (French documentary abut Snow Leopards) 4 Stealing Sheep and the Radiophonic Workshop La Planete Sauvage ( reimagined soundtrack to an old film by Liverpool's Stealing Sheep and the Radiophonic Workshop AKA Delia's pals) 5 Jean-Claude Vannier/ Serge Gainsbourg la Bete Noir / Paris N'Existe (Films from the 60s but never released prior to this year, they were considered lost)
  12. Stanmore is a normal recomendation, its at the end of the Jubilee line, you should be able to get to Euston by changing for the Metropolitan Line at Wembley Park which will take you to Euston Square or Kings X / St Pancras Theres an NCP car park at Stanmore (Its there because of the Tube Station) and you can pre-book for discounts
  13. Ukraine's losses are nowhere near Russias in terms of generational loss. Russias problem isn't just the meat grinder. Fertile males have been leaving Russia for years to live abroad, they have no interest in going back. This problem has rapidly accelerated since the war began and especially since the threat of mobilisation
  14. That song doesn't belong on that album really. It was always the traditional encore of the band's sets all through the first album and even before. It's the stage invasion song I always felt they only included it because they wanted to record a version of it and needed to fill out More Specials. For me, it just doesn't sit right on that album
  15. Oddly specific given the relatively short walking distance between Euston / St Pancras / Kings Cross and that Kings Cross serves the ECML Surely somewhere on the WCML would be better for your geographic location?
  16. Spoken like a true non-goldfish
  17. You did that on porpoise didn't you?
  18. Some people do do just that, I've had very litle to drink since October until a few days before Xmas I suspect you see more people announcing they are having a break from drinking than people announcing that they are having a break from not drinking. But don't asssume that because people don't annouce the later that it isn't happening
  19. That'll solve the male / female gender imbalance they are creating in the fertile year ranges Coming in 2024. No man? Do your national duty and play artificial insemination roulette
  20. Anyone who had the previous Pope, he might kark it before the deadline
  21. No, I think with Klopp and Liverpool it is something a little more than just winning trophies. There really does seem to be a bond between him and the fans that is more than just winning trophies. It maybe something he's manufactured but also maybe not. Sure winning trophies and playing the brand of football that they do means a lot but Klopp goes a little off piste every now and again. He's an old punk, he turns up in random pubs on his own and just chats to people, he's just not a normal football manager, he likes going to his local and having a pint, he understands the whole Hillsborough thing, he's a bit of a lefty politics wise. Its hard to put your finger on but I think there is more to it than just on the pitch, there’s definitely a bond there a little different to the normal fan / manager thing.
  22. Its not, its a LACS forum (joking)
