  1. As if sniffer dogs will pick up anything other than the scent of another dog
  2. He'd be an absolute nobody in the Tory Party, another Mark Francois. He makes much more money on the outside shouting in than he'd ever make in the Tory Party. He isn't a principalled politician, he's a grifter
  3. WHy would he do that, his whole grift is based on him beng a critic of the Tory Party
  4. It's not like Bonnie Raitt hasn't won a Grammy before. 13 she's won and a lifetime achievement award Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame over 20 years ago Top 50 in ROlling Stones best vocalists of all time and top 100 of RS, best guitarists of all time Anyone with more than a passing interest in music will have heard of Bonnie Raitt Now I can't say she's my cup of tea or even that I know much of her output because that isn't my thing but to describe her as an unknown is utter stupidity
  5. We're waiting for the Platinum Tick, where companies can remove negative tweets abount them and remove thier authors from the entire planet Right wing nutjobs will also be allowed their own special Swas Tick(a)
  6. That isn't what was said in the article. What was said was that the conditions changed and became very bad on what was in any circumstances, a difficult climb. Experienced hiker, attempts difficult mountain ascent, conditions changed for the worse. He still hasn't been found. There really is no mystery
  7. I haven't bought meat in Tesco for at least 25 years since the maggot incident
  8. Have a drink in The Oxford Bar, 8 Young Street. It is the pub that the fictional Inspector Rebus drinks in. It's also the pub that his creator Iain Rankin often drinks in. Yes its just a pub, that is it's charm Before you leave, visit Valvona and Crolla at the top of Leith Walk and stock up on food from an amazing Italian Deli (and it has a cafe too which is also great). When I was working at the fringe, around the time Trainspotting was set, I was living further down Leith Walk which was smackhead central (the book was right) that Deli was an absolute oasis in a sea of effluent picked up my lonch from there every day. It's been gentrified now but that place has been there for decades and it has the most amazing smell, go there just for the smell. I will never go to Edinburgh and not visit there before I go home
  9. Ready meals are never as cheaper option unless they have yellow stickers on them
  10. Waitrose do that with the advantage of no maggots in your meat
  11. This applies to almost any derogatory statement you'd care to make
  12. You realise that account is just taking the piss yeah?
  13. Spoken like a man who has never been caught on the Dual Carriageway, national speed limit, A449 around Llantrisant, just as you go over the brow of a hill by a mobile camera parked in a picnic spot at the bottom of the downslope
  14. They'd have got away with it if it hadn't been for the Medellin kids
  15. You only have Peter's word for that This is Peter talking himself up, waffling on about sonar so you think he's doing something the police aren't doing. In a different interview he says that the Police have the same type of equipment He's offering his services for free but doing an awful lot of interviews!
  16. The dog, why aren't they questioning the dog, it's the dog, the dog is as guilty as guilty thing. Don't fooled by the pining and the barking, it's all an act
  17. That whole thread and other tweets he’s sen on the same subject are well worthy of a read.
  18. She could t even learn to genuflect in front of the monarch in that time
  19. The Chancellor was her co-author in the Britannia Unchained bollocks. This was no ordinary appointment, they were co-conspirators. The whole premise of her sacking Kwarteng was ludicrous. This was no Chancellor gone rogue, not a Chancellor she was relying on to do the economics whilst she concentrated on the big picture. This was the two of them. Enacting their joint fantasy. If she had any honour she’d have sacked him and resigned at the same time.
  20. From Truss' nonsense in the Torygraph Hilarious. Don't ever forget that She, Kwarteng, Patel, Raab and Skidmore wrote Britannia Unchained which was published in 2012 and everything she did was based on that. Hands up who thinks she's have completely ignored any advice she was given anyway? Me for sure I gave up reading a short while after that because the blaming of others was just nauseating and calling her plan a return to "traditional Tory Values" just as irritating This Tory Government, under any leader its had, is the most right wing economic Tory Govt in my lifetime and apparently it's spent to much being like Labour She's as off her chump today as she was in number 10, thinks she was right all along. Add to that the hilarity of claiming no one told her about the LDIs but that she really shouldn't have had to wait for the OBRs report kind of sums up why she always was a f***ing idiot
  21. Also in the Torygraph today, apparently (Not read it just seen chatter about it), the 1922 Ctte are considering a rule change to allow a window for VONCs after a round of local elections
