  1. If spmebody could quickly nobble Tripper before the game that would be great, Gabriel on bench and currently sitting on 14 points, oh and Odegaard too but he's beyond being able to come on for me
  2. Revolut isn't a bank but it does pay interest nd gives you cashback on certain transactions Currently (for me at least) I get 2% cashback when I buy groceries in a supermarket through it. I just transfer from my bank (Starling) to my revolut at the till and pay with Revolut Would I use it as my bank? Not a chance, its not protected but it does have uses
  3. More likely Africa, where he also has troops protecting his diamond mines
  4. If you are shielding the ball you are in possession of it, so obstruction is irrelevant
  5. There's two ways o0f looking at that, this week was supposedly the second week of Sunak's rehabilitation measures. Last week he got completely upstaged by Hancocks Whatsupdoc messages, This week, this. Both weeks his attempts at improving his profile have been totally blown out of the water by other events, And worse that that this week, the Lineker saga really has let the rabid dogs out of the Tory box again. Any chance of appearing more sensible has been shot
  6. Amusing to hear the talk of grey areas on the BBC today, various talking heads insinuating that nothing is clear cut... Also amusing is the absolute lack of balance, nobody is putting an alternative view of the situation across EDIT: and as they've wheeled out some former BBC heads, maybe they could have invited Greg Dyke on, his view isn't the same as these people. They had him on Radio 4 but not on LKs programme. Balance my arse
  7. This bit isn't a fair comparison. If you change black to white in your US statements, you're swapping two sets of people with an entirely different access to power and democracy, they aren't compatible with being swapped around. I very much agree with that. But here we're talking about two sets of people that are on the same side of that power imbalance albeit in different eras. It is acceptable to swap those to prove the point. It matters not what the ultimate intent is, it's the rhetoric that is being talked about not the current ultimate intent.
  8. Seriously, your enjoyment or otherwise of the programme isn't relevant
  9. That’s really ok but you realise this actually isn’t about your or anyone's opinion about football pundits or a football programme?
  10. Or just imagine having to apologise because someone told the truth about Boris Johnsons Dad breaking his wifes nose, funny the difference between the two situations Tory journo doesn't correct Tory minister when she's basically lying to camera and the public Presenter with suspected Tory leanings, apologises to camera because someone stated an unpleasant fact about a former Tory PMs Dad who said former PM is trying to get his Dad a peerage Quite an odd couple of events to compare
  11. It means its bullshit and everyone can see that
  12. or very common these days is put it in sport mode and knock the gearstick to the left and change gears manually
  13. He's already done that at least once during this war
  14. FInal Purchase Reading's Ulrika Spacek with their new album Compact Trauma Alternative rock I guess, I like them but this is the first time I've atually bought anything of theirs
  15. Yes but also the rating speed of the track also has an impact, a big chunk of Wales track mileage is not high speed
  16. Yeah but I didn't say any act got where they are because of the BBC, I said they helped. i'm not saying they wouldn't have been succesful if there was no BBC, I said the BBC helped. They helped with that word of mouth reputation
  17. Well yes quite, I'm not exactly a fan either but...
  18. Not true at all, definitely played on BBC before they ever released an album.
  19. Next Up... WIld Billy Childish & CTMF - Failrue No Success The prolific WBC's latest. More from the straight up garage side of his output Big shout of to WBC and Damaged Goods for releasing standard black vinyl albums, no limited editions and at a sensible price (£18). It's perfetly possible to do it, they just don't want to
  20. It's very Diamanda Galas, without being like Diamanda Galas at all
