The war won't end until the Ukrainians decide they are sick of their own losses or Russia leaves. There are only two countries that can end it. Russia by leaving or Ukraine by giving in. Being as Russia wanted to wipe Ukraine off the map, Ukraine aren't anywhere near wanting to end it and it's highly doubtful they ever will be until Russia is off their territory

Russia leaves Ukraine inc Crimea. There is only Ukraine that can decide when they are happy for peace talks And they have consistently stated that Russia must leave all Ukrainian territory

It could be worse that that if Ukraine can manage to punch a hole right through Wagner. Russia will have to rapidly move in troops from other defence lines in a sustainable position, it could weaken a good chunk of that front. The blame game will then become much more severe for Wagner then.

Back in the student days in the Student Union, there was this magical mechanical wall that we could separate the main big hall from the bar area with. The only thing the Lineker episode was a distraction from was Sunak attempting to resurrect the Tories and his flagging position in the polls. Unfortunately his own dogs of war put paid to that. As for the funding issue, nice to see you parroting the Tory agenda

Our Oxfam isn't so clued up, even now, they mainly have shite but sell most of it for 30p. I came back the other week with about 10 James Last albums for £3. All in pretty good nick but they just get dumped in the dreadful record pile that I'm accumulating I do still find the odd bargain though like this which I had to buy just for the cultural reference. I honestly had no idea what that line in the Prefab Sprout song was about until I saw that. Not worth much (but more than the 30p I paid) but it's great to have because of the song that mentions it Here's another one for 30p. It's really good and there's a bit of a story behind the recording, recorded in 67 but never released until 73 (on budget label Pickwick which just adds to the sillyness) and it fetches quite a bit more than 30p. More like a tenner
