Oh just thought I'd mention the petrol station by me has been selling Diesel at £1:39.9 for about two weeks now, every other petrol station is at least 5p more and some are wildly 14p more

I'm sorry Dem but this is how it works If you make a claim about somebody, that person can accuse you of libel, the person making the libel needs to prove the statement wasn't libellous, its not down to the person who is libelled to prove its not true It's a general principal of any valid argument and the law. It's actually a little insane to think it doesn't work that way

That really isn't the way this works The onus is on the person to prove something exists not the other way around. It's practically impossible to prove non-existence. Or to put it another way, the person making a claim needs to back it up.

The point is, the religion had nothing to do with it. The family in question were Roma, who if they have a religion are mostly different strands of the Christian faith. The mere fact that “it was the Muslims” is used is wrong. It was a section of the local community, which faith they are is irrelevant.

What did the majority religion of the community in question have to do with that situation? In fact it was mainly Muslim members of the local community that tried to stop the riot.

Just 17 year olds, how about 16, or 14 or 10? The law is there for a reason. That reason isn’t to help salacious gossip and human curiosity.
