  1. You mean the Wolves that won 2-0 last week against Brentford or the Wolves that beat Chelsea 1-0 the week before? Wolves are playing the utterly woeful Leicester this week, far easier opponents than their last two games
  2. You might even say it was potty
  3. I can't see Everton scoring at Palace in three games let alone one. Palace is probably the most likely CS this week IMO
  4. Yes much better than the Fine Young Cannibals
  5. There's just been a Just Stop Oil spokesloon BBC News. They are having a demonstration to coincide with the London Marathon (theyve promised not to disrupt it) Thousands upon thousands of people will be f***ing running, not driving, why on earth do they think its an appropriate time and place to have a demonstration Her comments were just nuts and I'm not convinced she used the words oil or petrol or anything else of that nature once "What do you say to all the participants? I didn't quite catch the exact wording but the answer was along the lines of "remember you are running past the houses of parliament where important decisions are made" Interviewer asks about all the money being raised for charity at the event, again her answer was a bit mental, "we're fighting for a better future for everyone" (basically your charity is irrelevant) Off her chump, not really trying to win anyone over to their side of the argument
  6. Dogs have rights too, what were they thinking?
  7. Doubt it, not sure I want them to either. I'd rather it rumbled on a while and caused maximum damage Raab somehow seems to have a charmed life when it comes to sackings / demotions / resignations, so much so I often wonder what he knows that he's keeping a lid on.Or it could be that he's considered a true intellectual in throbby circles and the throbbers insist he stays.
  8. I'm already hovering over the five Space Oddities Cds
  9. This could be significant news... New Voice of Ukraine Why significant? Because South Korea has significant numbers of artillery in their inventory and a significant capacity to produce artillery shells, something NATO doesn't really have. The statement is a significant shift in South Korean policy and comes just a week before the South Korean President is making a state visit to the US
  10. I'd have got this much quicker with my old method. Probably 2 goes 3 at worst Wordle 670 5/6
  11. Just to give you an indication of the speed this toerag was doing He's gone through the crash barrier, the wall, the trees, the garden and ended up in the living room of the house (behind the image is a roundabout). It's almost inconceivable the speed he was doing
  12. Without a shadow of doubt, even the supermarkets are charging rip off prices. I've got two of these self service / no staff places down the road from me and they are different companies and are both charging the same prices. There's a BP no more than 300 meters up the road and it's still £1:56.9 for diesel, I doubt they are selling much
  13. Fuel watch: Just paid £1:42.9p for diesel at the local self service. Thats more than 3 gallons for £20 for the first time AND fir the first time unleaded was the same price
  14. There was a road death near work last week, where a local legend - The Litherland Running Man was wiped out. Two 17 year old toerags stole a performance Audi and crashed it at such a speed that it went through both the garden wall and the front of a house. The police only found LRMs body the next morning when they were starting to remove the car from the house LRM was just a bloke that liked to run, in just a pair of shorts and sometimes trainers, sometimes barefoot, you'd see him everywhere in the area. I don't even think he was aware that he was a local celebrity, there was a FB page dedicated to him, people used to post photos when they spotted him out etc but essentially he was just a bloke who was doing no harm to anyone and liked to run.... a lot and mostly barefoot The two scrotes were still at large at dinner time, though Police made further inquiries today with me and I should hope they will be arrested soon if they haven't been already But I guess they won't do much more than three years either.
  15. Why? Is he going to do some cricket coaching in Northern ireland? I'm assuming you mean the cricket coach and not the new leader of the SNP You could always email him to find out I guess
  16. I don't see how Labour, as a party that offers itself for election in all three of the Great Britain countries could offer that as a policy
  17. My current FH team, COuld change at any time. I picked what I thought was the best 11, the value of the subs (apart from Moreno who is in my normal team) is just what was left over afterwards)
  18. Gone with Trippier, dumped Kane. Spurs have defence issues this week. Newcastle are at home and wanting to bounce back after a thumping Eze / Olise - yes they are playing Everton who are dogshit squared right now. Maddison - no, Leicester are about as much use as Everton Neither, both are rotation risk. Darwin has only played 10 minutes at the end of a game as sub, he's almost nailed on not to start Definitely 2 liverpool defenders Trent is actually currently playing in Midfield so should be an auto choice for this game then either Robo or Van Dijk Martinelli and perm 2 from 3 of Odegaard / Saka / Jesus (Personally I dumped Saka) No, genuinely think Toney is now playing within himself as that looming yellow is ever present. A good pick yes, there are others too though Yes, but which friggin one is the problem, currently on Isak but could easily be on Wilson in ten minutes You haven't mentioned keepers. Palace's Johnstone has to be the keeper for the week given Palace's resurgence, Everton's decline (and being away) and his price point
