  1. Holy F*** No! I'm incredibly sad at that news. Mark Stewart was a true maverick, he followed his own path and underneath it all he was such a nice man From The Pop Group, through New Age Steppers to his work with the Maffia, I was always a fan I met him quite a few times, I even put On-U Sound System Shows on with him and Gary Clail. I turned up unannounced at other gigs and he'd let me in Lots of what he had to say in the 80s is as true today as it was then. The Album As the Veneer of Democracy Starts to Fade and it’s message is as true today as it ever was An absolute legend of the Bristol scene, he also worked with Massive Attack, Tricky and many other Bristol acts He was so influential, from Nick Cave to the US Industrialists like Nine Inch Nails, many cited him as an influence He was also back in the On-U fold, there's supposedly a new album out there, I only hope it was semi-finished so AMS can complete it Good-bye to a true visionary. One thing he was wrong about, I don’t think he did have his price, he just did what the hell he wanted, when he wanted. I remember Gary Clail telling me that Mark just went in holiday once and ended up living with some Gypsies in Spain for 6 months and then just showed up on his doorstep one night full of new ideas Here with stolen Eric Satie…
  2. The Russians don’t have air superiority either. They rarely venture over Ukrainian skies because Ukraine do have a lot of ground to air solutions
  3. Yeah but it's likely to be bigger than the first one just because of the threat
  4. In don't think Russia has thank many experienced tankers left in the army that they are prepared to lose to man their tanks, that is thought to be one of the reasons they are chucking very old tanks into the battles. Because they don't have time to fully train tankers in newer equipment as it takes much longer
  5. Dicked around with subs with 5 to go, out went Bowen for Andreas and out went Mings for Guehi not even sure why tbh
  6. Darwin not fit enough yet to be a starter say my mates with season tickets
  7. I believe Raab has now used the phrase "activist civil servants" in one interview Activist SENIOR civil servants? Really? They wouldn't have got to where they are in life if they were activists
  8. He's really not going quietly Raab in the Torygraph (not currently paywalled)

    Soft drinks

Just so you know... tastes nothing like actual strawberry I don't really eat blueberries, i just moan at the price of the sheep shit resembling fruit as it enters the shopping trolley
  10. That would be an even more amusing outcome of an investigation.
  11. Nonsense, its perfectly possible to search articles from both points of view. But in this specific instance it's pretty obvious which country invaded the other one. You don't really need Google for that. It only doesn't work if you're lazy and don't want to balance the views yourself. That isn't a search engines fault it's the fault of the person doing the searching

Nah definitely blueberry I reckon, it's a stronger flavour than strawberry, I'd have said blackberry / blackcurrant but thought it was probably blueberry because that's a currently on-trend flavour Odd thing is I can still imagine that taste over three weeks later
  13. Ask them if they'd care to go home to Russia and live right now, maybe they should even volunteer to fight if they feel like that.
  14. Oliver Dowden to be the meaningless Deputy PM. That's three totally meaningless positions he holds now
  15. It really is amazing how many of them no-one has ever heard of. He's the straw man fwiw
  16. Well he did want to be Camilla's tampon
  17. Kiln hell!, that's wheely good for you!
  18. "In setting the threshold for bullying so low..." There's a threshold for bullying now? The Prime Minister clearly agreed with the findings, so Raab is having a pop at Sunak there I also find the idea that he went through 8 speed cameras and only two of them were activated by his speed, somewhat hilarious as a defence, you don't get congratulations for being on the right side of the "threshold" 6 times when you crossed it even once let alone twice Not a hint of an apology either His personality clearly shines through that letter, he's an absolute word removed
  19. Yep, that is one of those seats that Labour really will not be trying in Also worth pointing out that quite often Lab / LibDem are of a similar vote share in that constituency and the voters there clearly made a collective decision to attempt to get rid of Raab last time as the Labour vote completely collapsed to under 2.5K. Thats way more than the fear of Corbyn would do
  20. He was my sub keeper this week until I needed funds for yet another shuffle. Spurs have defensive problems this week but with Trippier in the team I didn't want to double up on Newcastle defence
  21. I thought that was well known? Certainly is amongst the vinyl enthusiasts
