Blair won 56 Scottish seats in 1997 and gained a 176 Seat majority overall, he could have lost every single Scottish seat and still won a healthy working majority of over 50 Blair only gained I think it was 7 seats in Scotland in 1997

Mid Suffolk might be worth watching, Tory Party in danger of losing to Green Party. The council leader has already lost her seat and I make it 16 seats they've won there so far, which is way more than any of the others. (34 seats total - previously second placed with 12 councillors) In those wards they won so far, they are winning by HUGE margins and they aren't standing in every ward either, some wards are straight LibDem / Tory fights (no Labour either) EDIT: 17 Seats won after 21 declarations, they need 1 more seat from the remainder, it's not really in doubt now. The Green Party have a council to run

Its a high stakes game he's playing, threatening to collapse the front (because that will happen) to get more artillery shells An interesting game of brinksmanship to see who caves in Wagner or the Military supply chain they are reliant on There have been an increasing number of reports of Wagner / RUs Mil actually engaging with each other. There's no proof but those stories seem to come out all the time now.

Why do you consider it "wasted"? Is it a need to back a winner? No vote is really wasted as they all add up, especially when the statisticians do their post match analysis

It's an interesting question, the Russian military are bound to blame them for Bakhmut but whether Putin blames them is another question altogether before the full scale invasion of Ukraine, Prigozhin and Putin were close and its hard to fathom their current relationship Wagner can't possibly be blamed for the direction of the entire war (with any seriousness)

Before the war, Wagner was Putin's private army, they'd go into countries as mercs and carry out Putin's will (see Sudan right now as a prime example). This gives Putin plausible deniability. In return Wagner get to rape the country involved for resources (see the diamond mines they run in Africa as an example of this) Wagner isn't short of money, it's short of ammo and particularly artillery shells
