And to add to that Johnson is demanding that Bernard Jenkin resign from the Privileges Ctte because he went to a drinks party hosted by the Deputy Speaker when London had been in Tier 2 lockdown restrictions
You go down fighting Johnson, and keep on keeping on
Lamacq played this on his show yesterday, it pleased me no end as one of the great forgotten bands got some airtime even if Adrian Borland sadly took his own life many years ago. FIrst four albums by this band are all brilliant
That just isn't the way bars work in the US though
It might be different now but when I was over there, especially if you're sat at the bar most places you order get your drinks and stick money on the bar, the bar tender will come around later and sort out the payment without bothering you
Not sure what you point is apart from woe is me
I run a taxi, I have to pay 2 licences, insurance, fuel, cleaning, transaction fess. It's all part and parcel of running a business
Its a cost of running your business
You can always sell the property, have none of the costs and let someone who rents buy their own property.
It's a licence, it allows you to continue your business legally. It's like a market stall trader complaining that he has to pay the council a licence fee for his pitch.
The money will get used to fund inspectors to inspect properties making housing safer for the renter.
You seem to think the council should take your word for it that you and the property are OK and they should just take your word for it.
There are rougue landlords out there, the council need to stop that, the only way to fund that (local government cuts etc) is for the industry to fund the inspection regime
It's no different to my taxi licence, it serves exactly the same purpose.
All your letter says is £700 wah wah wah
Or maybe its because the VT OT Massive are better human beings than most, realise that the only thing worth talking about is other peoples reactions until, you know, some of them pesky facts emerge.
People in the match thread are watching / listening to something (almost) live, it isn't a valid comparison
There were no charges, the bomber died and he acted on his own. It was the coroner that ruled it wasn't a terror event as there was no evidence of his motivation for the act nor was there any evidence of collusion with other parties.
