  1. Everyone's favourite mercenary leader has popped up again and it seems his death wish hasn't gone away
  2. This is the current state of the polling Pollster Fieldwork Dates Question Type In EU Out EU Omnisis 25-26.5.23 Rejoin/Stay Out 59 41 BMG 30-31.5.23 Join/Stay Out 57 43 Omnisis 1-2.6.23 Rejoin/Stay Out 61 39 Omnisis 8-9.6.23 Rejoin/Stay Out 59 41 Omnisis 15-16.6.23 Rejoin/Stay Out 60 40 Deltapoll 19-22.6.23 Rejoin/Stay Out 56 44 Poll of Polls - - 59 41 WhatUKThinks.org It isn't even remotely close any more
  3. Video supposedly of the missile hitting the Chongar Bridge
  4. There are plenty of MPs in both main parties who are taking that very odd position. In most cases you know that it isn't their real position but then you have the likes of Liz Truss who has gone so far full on Brexit throbber you have to believe it
  5. No it isn't, there is still vast profiteering at the pump. Diesel is at least 8p per litre above where it should be
  6. There are very few festivals (if any) that can rival what Glastonbury actually offers, the sheer range of things going on outstrips anything else I'm not fan of festivals at all but Glastonbury is actually right out there on its own. Comparing it to other festivals is a bit like comparing Man CIty to Bootle FC and coming to the conclusion that they are just two football teams You really don't see even half of what goes on at Glastonbury on the telly / radio coverage You don't see any of the late night stuff, you rarely see any of the arts stuff, lots of stages aren't covered There is stuff you can dislike about it aplenty but it isn't just another festival, it really is in a league of its own
  7. If that was storm shadow, the "pothole" is only the entry wound, that will be the hole the missile made in its first stage to breach the fortification (in a traditional target) the larger explosion comes after the breach, in this case under the bridge and will hopefully have weakened the bridge supports, a far bigger problem to solve
  8. Yes it’s very similar to petrol at the minute. The idea that the market sorts itself out is proving to be utter nonsense
  9. Yes that’s kinda why I was asking and from what you’ve said, the banks are making increased margins as they aren’t passing on the rises to savers
  10. So answer this for me, when the BoE raises interest rates, the bank put up their lending rates accordingly but why don’t they put up their savings rates by a similar amount?
  11. Haha, I've just been playing my Morriconne Westerns album without realising
  12. As I posted yesterday, the Tories aren’t putting anyone up for the panel… what does that say. The Tories on the anniversary of their big achievement, aren’t send an MP to a panel on QT where the audience is made up entirely of people who voted for their big achievement. They know it'll be an absolute shit show and they are employing their latest tactic to combat it… running away.
  13. Michael Foot holds that honour not Corbyn
  14. The Special Counsel who oversaw the Trump - Russia investigation
  15. Not a sex worker paying for her conveyance to work?
  16. Was meant to be humour, plus I agree with what you’ve said That was my point, it was a joke
  17. I think you're confusing shambolic lack of action and "The Plan" as two separate entities
  18. I'm not sure he's claiming the BoE decision as Govt policy
  19. No change at my local unmanned petrol stations £1.33.9 (D) / £1.34.9 (U) not changed in a good number of weeks
  20. SKy News Such a shock, oh and the rest!

  22. Even worse than that, some of them are truely bathysmal
  23. Yeah, it isn't Stormshadow, there's three different holes and a close miss, they hit it with something more conventional I think and as you say Stormshadow would have made a much bigger mess
