  1. You've clearly never watched Porridge
  2. I've tried to watch it a few times, it never really managed to retain my attention
  3. Turn notifications on, you won't be able to avoid them. A lot of their tips are cretinous though
  4. The Sun could tell me the sun was out and I'd look out of the window to check. They clearly haven’t looked out of their own window
  5. Fairly sure I’ve seen figures that 85-90% of Twitter usage is via a mobile phone
  6. Absolutely this. Even a cabinet minister was claiming that the BBC should be “given space to investigate the allegations.” Why? They have no powers of investigation. It’s a Police matter and so far no-one has shown even the Police any evidence of a crime.
  7. They’ve printed a story based on someone said they’ve seen something. That doesn’t get the Scum off the hook at all. They print allegations, it’s down to them to check the facts before they publish. They've clearly admitted they’ve not done that Even if they had the evidence which they clearly don't (despite talk of handing a dossier to the Police/BBC) and it turned out to be incorrect, they’d still be liable Even the Police have said they’ve seen no evidence
  8. Hmmm I’m not so sure. The Scum newspaper ran the story, it’s down to them to uphold journalistic standards, which they clearly didn’t do here. Absolutely zero corroboration Anyone can go to a paper with a batshit crazy story, it’s up to the paper to do their research and be able to prove what they print.
  9. I really hope the BBC presenter sues the f*** out of the Scum.
  10. The BBC clearly said yesterday that the original complaint was about totally different allegations and that they tried to speak to the parents who didn’t respond
  11. This aspect of the story wasn’t raised with the BBC until late last week.
  12. The law was changed after the BBC / Cliff Richard case. The BBC couldn’t name the presenter even if they wanted to The law was changed for a reason.
  13. And this is why the BBC not releasing the name was absolutely the right thing to do. There was something distinctly off about this from the outset.
  14. Russians don't get the same view of things in the media. What you see on their TV and reality as you know are far detached But equally, when people react to things happening live, you also don't know if they are being truthful because its ingrained in Russian mentality to parrot the official line unless you want carting away I was talking more about how its being spun in their media than what the public actually think because in Russia that is almost impossible to gauge People celebrating with Wagner could easily be celebrating because you always want to be on the right side of who is in charge. Strange strange country to the likes of us.
  15. Putin came out looking really weak to the West At home he looks like a superman who quelled a mutiny
  16. Yep thats broadly true, hence why I started to use one decaf capsule. We've only had the machine a couple of weeks (a second hand hand me down) and sometimes After a couple in the morning I'd have serious jitters, thats why I looked for decaf ones too
  17. I certainly notice the difference between instant coffee and a coffee out of the coffee machine at home and I'm not even using any of the super strong capsules (mainly around 6 or 7 out of 13 strength wise) Here's a tip if you're having double espresso from a capsule type machine, there really is some decent decaf capsules out there. I've started to make my larger drinks with two capsules but one of them a decaf
  18. Specifically when after the mutiny did they meet because Prigozhin was in St Petersburg last week to pick up some weapons that were confiscated when one of his properties was searched? (he was seen entering and leaving the FSB office apparently) They were specialist sporting guns if I remember correctly. This was the same day as Lukashenko publicly said he was in St Petersburg.
  19. My missus is exactly the same and to some extent I used to be too but now it really does affect me.
  20. Where I used to live, I think it was one of the two Barnardo's Charity Shops actually specialised in nearly new branded up market clothes. Never went in but lots of people I know used to go in and buy stuff
  21. I can't contemplate ordering those after 6PM tbh despite that I really like them, the coffee would just keep me awake beyond when I want to sleep
