  1. Not disagreeing with that but any company has a fiduciary responsibility to it's shareholders to do the best for them, which is why regulation is always needed in sectors like this as that reduces the boards liability to their shareholders
  2. Living room apart from the 12" singles which are in a cupboard
  3. No it really isn't what you said. You said they always offer less to savers than borrowers, it's true, that margin between the two is their profit. They will always do what you said. The problem is that the rate rises have been passed on to borrowers but not to savers. If they'd done the right thing and passed on the rate rises to both, they would still be offering exactly what you said, higher rates to borrowers than savers.
  4. He's from Widnes, this is normal
  5. Yes they do but that isn't the issue. It's the interest gap between borrowing and saving that has increased. If one goes up, so should the other. There really should be regulatory action because the whole point of what the BoE are doing is to discourage spending (I think they are wrong but....) to reduce inflation. If saving isn't encouraged by passing on the rate rises to consumers, then there is definitely an argument that the banks themselves are fueling inflation
  6. It was a high court appeal case not a vote 9/10 cars on London's roads are already compliant. I really don't get the huge issue here. Is your car compliant Dem?
  7. He hadn't been in the band for decades had he?
  8. I just looked at a list of Eagles songs, I knew two of them and I wished I didn't
  9. Same here. I'm just posting stuff I considered last night or five minutes ago
  10. I'm actually considering Haaland / Nkunku / Jackson as a front three. And then that gives me an option on a single transfer in GW3 to have a Chelsea triple up. Not definite obviously but it's something I'm playing with. I also wish Kane's future was settled as that really can change everything
  11. I think the current template of Haaland / Jesus up front is hilariously bad Jesus almost never lives up to his stats and every video I've watched seems to be saying that is the way to go. Not one YouTuber seems to have mentioned Diaby yet, third highest in assists in the Bundesliga over the last three seasons. None of them mention Douglas Luiz either and post Emery in charge he was one of the most productive midfielders in the league Most of them seem to also punt for Mitoma, when March is the same price, has marginally better stats and was a little unlucky last season. He also has less competition for his place from what I can work out and powered on through the season, whereas at the end Mitoma looked dead on his feet, with Europe on their agenda this season, I have the feeling that Mitoma is a bigger risk of rotation. There are so many differentials out there now that it's quite easy to go against the current template
  12. The pricing has definitely helped this season There's also some interesting fixture line ups like Villa / Palace. Their easy games are when we have hard games and vice versa, so a rotational combo of £4.5 villa defender / £4.5 palace defender can actually potentially save you money in defence and get you decent hauls. I don't think any of the Youtubers have pointed that out (not the one's I've watched anyway) - I currently have Pau / Anderson in my draft looking to exploit that. I even had a build the other day that still had £4mil in the bank and looked to me quite decent.
  13. At least I know I can just ignore anything related, none of them do anything for me. The Mercury Prize stopped being anything meaningful a long time ago
  14. Wordle 768 4/6 50/50 got it wrong
  15. It has and I agree there isn’t a single cover out there that is a patch on the original IMO.
  16. One of my favourite tracks featuring Sinead O'Connor. RIP
  17. You haven't made a point,Your argument's fundamental premise is utterly wrong as pointed out by everybody arguing against you. YOU. DO. NOT. HAVE. A. RIGHT. TO BUSINESS. BANKING. NOR. PRIVATE. BANKING And you keep coming back to it, it's like punching a wall hoping it'll change its mind.
  18. Oh yeah, its Rotherham thats the red but anyway..
  19. It's like you are willfully not getting it. Further discussion is pointless
  20. I suggest asking in the site issues forum
  21. The whole topic started because of Burnham, he is literally the central figure in the discussion, whether you mentioned him or not.
  22. This totally misses the point I was making. The point is, Burnham is doing precisely what he was elected to do, the anger shouldn't be directed at Burnham for doing his job, it should be aimed at Street for not doing his
  23. Is it? why should one of those businesses have to ignore reputational damage to its own business by being forced to trade with another business
  24. None of the examples you've cited are about basic banking facilities. Farage aside the rest are all business accounts
