  7. More on the attack on the airfield and the TU-22 long range bomber. That really will have put the shits up Russia, so far from the Ukraine border and most likely launched from inside Russia

  9. Because it’s entirely in character for both the shop and the town
  10. Reports out there of a fairly big breakthrough by Ukrainian troops in the Zaporizhzhia region (roughly about 5 or 6 hours ago). Obviously unconfirmed at this stage
  11. ChatGPT never fails on these Well, I walked into a dusty old saloon, Boots on my feet, under the Texan moon, I ain't no old-timer, I'm just a little gray, But folks started whisperin', "He's seen a better day." (Pre-Chorus) I ain't no senior citizen, just livin' my prime, But they pegged me for old age, oh what a crime, Sippin' on my coffee, leanin' on the bar, Gotta set the record straight, no matter how far. (Chorus) Mistaken for a senior, in this cowboy town, But I'm here to show 'em, I ain't slowin' down, Gonna two-step through the years, prove 'em all wrong, Singin' my country song, and singin' it strong. (Verse 2) My guitar's strummin', with a fire in my heart, Gonna light up this stage, tear the doubters apart, I might have some wrinkles, and a touch of gray, But that don't define the words I gotta say. (Pre-Chorus) I ain't no senior citizen, just livin' my prime, Gonna lasso the spotlight, one more time, Stompin' on the hardwood, makin' my stand, Gonna prove to 'em all, I'm still in command. (Chorus) Mistaken for a senior, in this cowboy town, But I'm here to show 'em, I ain't slowin' down, Gonna two-step through the years, prove 'em all wrong, Singin' my country song, and singin' it strong. (Bridge) Well, the crowd's startin' to holler, they're gettin' in line, Folks of all ages, movin' with mine, The rhythm takes over, age is just a thought, When the music's this good, it's never forgot. (Guitar Solo) (Chorus) Mistaken for a senior, in this cowboy town, But I'm here to show 'em, I ain't slowin' down, Gonna two-step through the years, prove 'em all wrong, Singin' my country song, and singin' it strong. (Outro) So remember my story, when you're judgin' folks by sight, Age is just a number, don't let it dim your light, We're all ridin' that sunset, no matter how far, But we'll keep on dancin' to the strum of that guitar.
  12. Already jumped off Bruno to Maddison but that is more about liberating funds for later transfers, keeping my other two United assets though I also reckon there'll be lots getting rid of Pedro because he was benched, he'll come back next week for a decent fixture I think. Not planning on getting rid of Jackson either If Gabriel plays tonight, I'll be rolling my other transfer to the next GW It'll also work the other way with people jumping onto Luis Diaz because he had a good week and is just as likely not to play the next game
  13. Best way to do the fringe, the established acts are there to be ignored All those years ago when I worked up there, we were lucky enough to see stuff like the Reduced Shakespeare Company and a whole bunch of stuff no-one had ever heard of... yet and some never again but it was mainly brilliant The only exceptions being the f***ing dogshit American AmDram shows where rich Americans paid a stupid amount of money to take their shitty bollox and prima donna attitudes to the EdinBro Fringe. Unfortunately that was the bollex I was working at A classic example, an interpretative dance show based on Man emerging from the primordial soup (didn't have the heart to tell them the billions of years between the two events), performed with 2 smoke machines and lots of strobes and flashing lights and of course they had to perform it naked, this show was booked for the entire three weeks in the 10am slot and because of the light and sound requirements required two operators for every show. First show of the day and some pretentious rich americans were really putting me off my breakfast. The only positive was the music but even that was something I'd listen to before bed, not first thing in the morning. At least it meant the second and thrird Sunday was a lie in because we didn't have to do another dress rehearsal. We'd have to toss a coin before each show, sound man on the balcony behind the stage was always preferable because you could do the crossword, the downside was you got the rear view but that was largely avoidable. I think they manged to get a crowd of 5 to one show... EDIT: Is the fringe Club still going in one of the Student Unions, that was one of the best bits for us because as staff we were automatically members so entry was free, beer was cheap, it used to go on way past our shows finishing and they'd put on guest spots by a lot of the acts from other shows. We'd get ballooned, laugh our heads off, crawl home and get up again three hours later to crawl back in again
  14. Much better than the Dick and DeeDee version
  15. Big enough to build my shelter out of vinyl and CDs or... three 8x2 Kallax units, 3 boxes of 7" singles and approx 600-700 CDs
  16. This whole question is impossible. Might be able to narrow it down to a 1000
  17. Have you ever tried to report a crime these days? The Police pass the buck as much as anyone else. There are proper channels for this, then you have the added complication of gathering the evidence which should the allegation prove false be a huge GDPR violation for the Trust and the Doctor getting sacked / struck off if it was proven to be incorrect.
