Not this time, demographics are completely against them and their policies are killing the age groups that do support them earlier.
They will suffer a defeat greater than 1997 at the next election when their voter profile was still much younger
It took them 3 election cycles and a global financial crisis to get back into power, it could be much longer before they get into power again. If ever again.
You won’t see the Tory Party in government for at least a decade if ever again.
Not only that but you’d only have to mention Thurrock and Woking to shut them up
No, it doesn't. Hackney has had a large Non-white population longer than car windows shatter into tiny shards
This is no historical term, it's something the Stones invented for this album, it is their current personal term for it
What era is this Polish Psyche / Folk Rock?
I have this as a souvenir of a festival I worked at in winter 1989. Mainly punk / Alt stuff from just before the fall of communism. It is wonderfully dreadful
You expected it not to be?
Even the album title is offensive. Hackney Diamonds according to mick are the shards of glass left on the ground when someone breaks into your car
I went to see U2 twice at the Birmingham Odeon around War and that Live at Red Rocks album because my mates were going. Bonio said the same shit between the same songs, climbed the speaker stack at the same time and they played the same songs in the same order
It confirmed my opinion that they were shite.
If that was here, I'd have bought a ticket already
You missed these....
Opus Kink
Willie J Healy
Hak Baker
Pip Blom
Bill Ryder-Jones
Lynks
Hell the Friday night opening party is a gig I'd go to on it's own
Then throw in all the famous musicians in the film too, Aretha, Cropper, Duck, Matt Murphy, Lou Marini, WIllie Hall, James Brown, Cab Calloway...
To say that band could play, it's probably the best pickup band ever assembled
Most likely outcome there is splitting the Tory vote leading to a Labour win
With current polling trends Tamworth isn't predicted to fall to Labour such is the majority, Tories would still cling on.
But yes, Tamworth is a special case so the rules don't apply due to who held the seat and what has happened
The former Tory, dumped by them twice (For what btw?) leading a group of Independents on the council who have only managed to actually win one ward on the council, the rest of their numbers are just defections are not likely to win a by-election but they may be big enough to prevent the Tories from winning. Encourage them as much as you can
