  1. Well yes quite. Its very clear from watching this how biased she is.
  2. Oh dear, Laura couldn't make it into the studio this morning, so we get my old mate Vic… Can Laura be ill every week Vic's making an absolute mess of Grant Shapps here in a way Laura K never would.
  3. Sunday morning… the sun ain’t gonna shine anymore
  4. The under appreciated synth pop of Blancmange and their second album Mange Tout
  5. Been waiting for that, I’ve heard a few of them and it'll be a decent addition to my instrumental collection
  6. 2% are not voting for their first choice in order to block another candidate but they aren’t sure who
  7. The Tories don’t appear to know the threat that the Green Party pose to them. The Con in Conservative might stand for confidence trick but it also stands for conservation. The Green / NIMBY parallels are strikingly obvious but the Tory nut jobs don’t seem to understand this, like everything else they don’t appear to grasp, killing their voters included. Sunak's spectacular and desperate own goal… indie
  8. Why has Starmer chosen now to make EU closeness comments? I think Mid-Beds By-election might be entering his thinking. Not the only reason because it’s also the LibDem conference this week which will also be front of his thinking too. Poll from 6 days ago
  9. The US are going to be sending Ukraine ATACMS long range missiles, announced by Biden after Zelensky's visit
  10. That's an interesting definition of average, being at the extreme high end of a range of scores currently submitted doesn't count as average
  11. There does appear to be a 2% share of the vote rise for the LibDems consistently in the last few polls published putting them up at about 12% and I've always considered the LibDem figures to be under representative in the polls as this far out people view it as a binary question. In my head they are probably worth a couple more percentage points still as the Tory core vote disaffection hardens They are still nowhere near Charles Kennedy / Paddy Ashdown percentages and should have plenty more scope for increasing their share of vote
  12. And that fieldwork is before the latest Net Zero announcement
  13. Polish PM has already backtracked, claiming he was misunderstood
  14. Birthplace of the NHS, should be double that!
  15. No they don't, no way do the lockers on aircraft neatly match up to the seat you are in Also many times I've seen people ask a flight attendant for help locating room in a locker, for them to check and go five lockers nown on the plane to a locker with some room in
  16. Its not a terrible policy, it's a non-policy, it changes absolutely nothing on a practical level, you really are missing the point and so are they.
  17. There is no point wasting parliamentary time to reverse something that will have absolutely no effect on anything. The entire announcement is a con job. Changing the date to 2035 isn't going to mean anything to the automotive trade, as they said yesterday, they are all sticking to their plans, it's the same with Gas boilers. The rest of the announcement was stuff that was never ever going to happen, ever. Labour should be highlighting that and not saying they'll reverse it. Saying you'll reverse it entrenches opinions of those the fake policy was aimed at. Calling it out for what it is, saying there's no point reversing it because it'll have no effect anyway is the much better option at least the throbbers might think and you haven't put another barrier in the way of people voting Labour. Labour have fallen for a trap that wasn't even set. Labour's reaction was a kneejerk to say the opposite, when they really should just have called it out as bollocks
