  1. How much are Microsoft spunking up a wall to take on Google with Bing and Edge over other Browsers Use Bing search on Edge, 5 days running... Amazon voucher. Points on every Bing search daily for more vouchers. They even have polls and quizzes that give you more points again. It must be costing them an absolute fortune
  2. Unless you have a newish mattress, you already have bedbugs
  3. I reckon I'm going to have to go Botman to Burn today before their prices both change
  4. Yeah, I also think most of them are over sizing Greens and possibly reform plus under sizing LibDems. People are answering their preferred party right now with no reference to their own constituency and how they'll actually vote
  5. 6. Because most companies get you to review their product online before you've actually received them. Order something... rate us appears before you've managed to leave the webpage.
  7. Nope, the whole point is to remove fast services from the WCML altogether, which in turn frees up capacity, enabling much more local traffic onto the rails. Fast services require huge intervals between trains, those huge intervals will still be required unless of course the Manchester trains divert to New Street and then you have to get yourself over to Curzon St to catch another train... And that's one huge degradation of service
  8. The tangible benefits of HS2 were never really sold to the public in the right way, they were massive. It wasn't a waste of money but it is now they've scrapped it. It's pointless now
  9. You won't find me disagreeing with that. I completely lost interest once Hooky was booted out. Hence why I also said that he's a better person than Barney because Barney is generally a bit of a Grade A asswipe
  10. Yeah but Hooky is less of twunt than Barney imo I have no interest in seeing either these days tbh NO play venues that are too big and I'm no fan of their recent output since reformation. PHatL are a tribute band that contains one member of the original band
  11. All that has changed is the Student Unions have got tamer and the students get pissed at student nights in town now I feel partly responsible for this shifting emphasis as I was one of the ones that started the trend in the 80s. I don't feel remotely guilty
  12. I think I read somewhere that it was a two person band saw which is just stranger still
  13. She's nowhere near what I'd call an old guard. Only been an MP for 13 years. She's something else to blame Cameron for
  14. I wildcarded last week due to the amount of flags on my players, most of whom played but I did manage to get a team that contained Haaland, Alvarez, Salah, Son, Maddison, Trippier I really didn't want to let go of Andersen from Palace but was kind of forced to to get the others in. Typical he gets another 15 pointer when I get rid, Might have to bring him back at some point
  15. Meh and there were still others Wordle 835 5/6 Oh and new work machine means I've lost all my stats..... GRRRRR
  16. Grant Shapps is announcing troop movements at Tory Conference? Firstly, they are bog standard NATO troop rotations and secondly Party Conference really isn’t the place for that
  17. Fairy nuff I guess but it does give Labour an advantage too
  18. Well Brexit only had to be dealt with in the first place because the Tory party were haemorrhaging votes to UKIP. Leaving the EU was in no way a majority opinion before the Tory Party decided to appeal to its throbber wing (which at the time was very much a minority) who were threatening to join UKIP (one of them actually did). Be under no allusions (copyright SWP) the only reason Brexit was even a thing was an act of Tory self-preservation. Remember, even in 2010, after 3 terms of Labour and a global financial meltdown, the Tories actually need a coalition to get into power. It was their solution to offer a referendum. Its all down to the Tories, no one else
  19. How was having to deal with something that f***ing idiots caused unlucky? Its entirely their fault And they managed to make a pigs ear out of it too Luck really has nothing to do with it. F***wittery and incompetence yes, luck, definitely not
  20. Mrs Bicks: “Can you put some music on for me to clean to?” This is an unusual request in this house, I then have think of something she'll like. Ah, I know… finds record I'm thinking of in no time at all, puts in on. Mrs Bicks: ”Thanks” She then proceeds to turn on the vacuum cleaner for the first three tracks.
  21. Only when Tories are in power. Ruling party gets first dibs and always chooses last, next biggest party then goes and chooses second last
