  1. The missus had similar issues with Unison, when her then supervisor was attempting to bully her. Utterly, useless. She ended up gathering the evidence herself and proving her case without any assistance. Meanwhile it kept happening to others who were too scared to do anything.
  2. Why would Putin even consider a deal with the US? Right now he's thinking he'll have his Orange Stooge back before long.
  3. Just had some knob attending the conference in my car. At the end of the journey. “Have a good night and join a Union” So I called him back to inform him that the Union that supposedly represents me is single-handedly trying to kill my industry and reduce workers pay Dickhead.
  4. Only in an extremist Muslim terrorist version of the Life of Brian
  5. Russia reportedly shot down a second SU-35 today. That’s 2 of its own aircraft in a week
  6. At least 198 Palestinians dead in Israeli retaliation attack. Utterly predictable result of Hamas' actions earlier What did Hamas imagine was the endgame to what they did? What Israel have done will be despicable but what were Hamas trying to achieve and how did they think it would end? If they didn’t think it ended with a lot of deaths of their own people then they didn’t think very hard. You have to suspect that Hamas knew exactly what the outcome would be and factored in those deaths. Its mind blowing
  7. Stardust? Its awful. Bowie’s estate didn’t approve documentary and refused permission for the music.
  8. One has to wonder why you bother reading and posting here then.
  9. Xela lives in Poland, Xela lives in Poland, La La La laaa Xela lives in Poland, Xela lives in Poland la La La laaa
  10. Ah feck, Jake was a nice fella. Was also the waiter with the dreadlocks in GBH and the presenter of Saturday morning kids TV Prog, "It's Wicked" amongst many other things Last I heard of him he was working with Liverpool Film Studios and a company called LA Productions and that was only a couple of years ago. I think he was teaching budding actors as part of his role But anyway, when he first started making money with his acting, he bought a rather famous Liverpool boozer called Peter Kavannaghs. He and his family ran it for a good few years, he did it so he'd always have an income when there was no acting work coming in but it was (and still is) a proper local community pub but one with loads of character, he was perfect for it. It was my local for a good few years and Jake also used to come down my club quite a bit. Just a nice, typical scouser, every sentence a joke and a laugh kind of guy 56 is no age at all
  11. Won't happen. The Tories will actually get more throbby and more irrelevant. Just wait until Farage re-joins them They will have to unite around someone after the next election and in all likelihood that will be one of Patel, Braverman, Mordaunt (but she might not even keep her seat) or Badennoch. There isn't a viable option for leader that isn't a throbber and the grassroots party is more throbby than a throbby thing

    Smoking Ban

Legal age is already 18 and has been since 2007, you are Rishi Sunak I claim my £5 You also can’t be serious in getting the police involved in policing tobacco, that an insane waste of public money and public servants time. They already have flimsy enough reasons to stop and search.
  13. They didn't claim they were all UK resident, nor do they indicate how many of them are single click visits from external links etc. The figure is entirely meaningless
  14. @StefanAVFC is considering buying a Porsche to go with his new house.
  15. Electrification of lines is actually, old redundant technology anyway. If we're moving forward, lets embrace the new. Today, the UK's newest station opened. Headbolt Lane in Kirkby. It's an extension to the Kirkby branch of the Northern Line of Merseyrail (owned by the people for the people ) They haven't bothered electrifying the track because they bought trains with rechargeable batteries in them It's currently a short distance but there are planes to further extend the range of Merseyrail trains using this new tech. First trains in the country to be capable Yes they currently require an electrified track to charge them but its another step in the right direction.
  16. Vehicle Excise Duty isn't ringfenced for roads. It's just another stream of general taxation.
  17. Nope, it's read by idiots with a reading age of 5 The Scum has been training them well over the years to spot a bunch of right tits. Seems like its paid off finally
